I posted here until a year ago when my 26 month old weaned, and now I am back again! My little guy just had a birthday, so I am officially allowed to post here again.

My oldest didn't wean until a bit after my second was born, so I've been nursing nonstop since Jan 08. I'm hoping I can nurse Sam until at least age 2 also.

I remember reaching this milestone with my first and having it be such a big deal, but the second time I wouldn't have it any other way. Sam is still very much a baby and the idea of putting him on a cows milk for baby cows seems so backwards since he can still have human milk straight from his mommy.

My little piggy weighed in at 28 pounds today at his year appointment, and still doesn't eat a huge amount of solids. It's all pretty empowering, isn't it?

I don't post too often anymore but still glad to see you!! Sam is a chunk!! He weighs more than/as much as Owen who is nearly 8 months older!

How are you and the kiddos doing? How has this horrendous winter been for you guys?

Oh and Happy birthday Sam!!!

Thanks!

We are doing well. I can't believe Sam weighs as much or more than Owen. Haha. Big babies are wonderful though.

This winter has been absolutely awful. I had a mini emotional meltdown last month. We have had more illness this winter than in all of Walters life. Today is gorgeous and it's making me so excited that spring is close.

How have you guys been? I can't believe you and tandem nursing toddlers. Go you!

We have been pretty sick this entire winter too! It has been EXHAUSTING. Plus I am in school full time so I have missed some for sick kids or me being sick. It is making things so hard! I cannot wait for full time warmth!! Now that spring is officially here, hopefully we are all better!

I am pretty proud but also done with the nursing! Owen will be two in July and I am really not sure if I will be weaning or continue on at that point. I have always said if there comes a point one party doesn't want to continue that it should stop. I may be there. We will see. Thanks for the hoorah!
