I made it! Now that my dd2 is almost 13 months and we are still nursing, I figured I should introduce myself here. I'm Courtney (28), mommy to my 3 year old Liliana (Lily) and 1 year old Abrielle (Abri). I only nursed Lily for 5 months and pumped for another month before weaning. My goal with Abri was to make it to a year, and I am so proud of myself for doing it. At this point I think we will be self-weaning, although I would eventually like to cut out the night feedings. She still wakes up 1-2 times to nurse.

Welcome! Night nursing was a big obstacle for us too. I hate to say it, but I think the only reason she night weaned is because my supply was gone, so there wasn't a reason to keep nursing. She was still nursing anywhere from 2-4 times a night though, up until that point. My oldest night-weaned on her own at 18 months, though, so it's not always hard to do.
