the natural age for weaning is 2-7 years old, so it is most likely just distraction, not nursing. kelly mom has some good resources on weaning and signs on there.
Yup, dd loves to pop on and off ever since she was around 4 months old. She's 17 months now. She loves switching sides several times during a feeding. It's kind of annoying but she's definitely not weaning.
