ok, here we are at almost 13 months of nursing and i have yet to lose the pregnancy weight. i lost 23lbs within 2 weeks of having carlos (most likely baby related weight and water) and have been stuck ever since.
anyone else with me? did you just shed off the weight like everyone said would happen with breastfeeding or are you like me and it hasn't made a difference?
i just want to fit into my clothes again. i cant wear 75% of my closet.

story of my life and i run 50+ miles a week and eat really well and count my calories. my Midwife, who i saw this week, definitely thinks it was the nursing, but so far, at 3 weeks weaned, no change. sigh.

I lost a ton of weight starting at about 6 months post pardum and kept it off for about a year. As soon as I stopped pumping at work I started gaining some back. She only nurses after 4 pm now. I need together back on the exercise kick!!

Weight what?

I lost really slowly with my first, I was back around my prepreg weight when she was around 18 months. This time around I thought it'd be faster with nursing two and all but nope. In a year I have lost about 5lbs after losing the initial baby weight. My body just likes to hold onto the weight. I'm not eating super healthy but not eating any 3000 calories either.

I lost weight after LO weaned but didn't really have to run or go to the gym. Just few exercises a day and watched my diet. Hope you were able to lose weight.
