how many months into nursing are you?
are you going to continue indefinitely? do you have a time set where you plan on weaning? let nature take its course?

My son is almost 14 months. I have no intention of weaning, I hope to let him wean himself. We are TTC though and I think he might wean during pregnancy. Hopefully not. I would LOVE the opportunity to tandem nurse!

Ashlynn is almost 28 months. She doesn't ask super often, but she does still ask. Considering I'm only 4 1/2 weeks from my due date I'm thinking she will still nurse once her brother is born unless she decides that mama's milk tastes weird once it comes in.. I've been dry for months aside from a bit of colostrum the past month or so.
I'll probably wean around 3.. but maybe not. It depends on how I feel about it then.

19 months. Ripley only nurses after 4pm and still a bit during the night weeknights. Weekend it's not as much as it used to be; she is a very busy lil lady! I'm just playing it by ear.

Still nursing at almost 14 months. It seems like nursing at bedtime relaxes me and gives my son a comforting time before he falls to sleep. Sort of like his security blanket in a sense!

Kate weaned at 18 months, during my pregnancy... I was nursing dry and it started to HURT! With this one I want to go at LEAST 18 months, probably 2 years.

I'm letting them self wean. I have nursed the little one for 12 months and the big one for... 48 months. Neither shows signs of stopping.

Lurking but Jax is going on 28 months in just a few days. He is tapering off some but I guess he will eventually self-wean...Its bittersweet that he just went to sleep 2 nights this week without nursing

22 months. I hope not to get to 3 years but IDK if I have it in me to wean. It would be torture for both of us.

I nursed my son until he was 14/15 months and I was about 3 months along with my daughter and he decided he didn't like the taste anymore. Have nursed my daughter since birth and she is now 20 months old.
As it is now she nurses first thing in the morning, as soon as I get home from work, and than at bedtime until we both fall asleep. On my days off she will nurse 2-3 times during the day as well, I think it is more of a comfort thing at this point though. I still pump at work, but where I used to make 12 oz a day at work pumping I now make less than 2.

Ripley is 30 months. She nurses from about 3:20pm until about 3:30am on demand, which equates to about 2-3 waking nursing sessions and 2-3 nighttime sessions. I leave between 4-5am on weekdays and don't see her till about 3:15pm do I let her nurse as much as she wants when we're together. Some nights I wish I were sleeping though. I miss sleep. So much.

Its going good, hes 13 months and I don't see us stopping anytime soon. He loves the boobie a little too much at time lol. I plan on doing child led weaning but I'm still on the fence because I don't see me wanting to go past 2.

It is bit weird nursing a bigger one isnt it?

What I have always done is to visualize or think of nursing a bigger kid. When she was 1 I thought of nursing a 3yr old. Boy did I think 3 was big. Then when she was getting closer to 3 yrs I started thinking of nursing a 4 yr old. These days I wonder if I'll be nursing a 7 yr old . That's still ways away and would have felt insane back when she was 1 but she grows just a day at a time so we'll see.
