you decide to BF past a year?

I am still heavily debating. Annika is a morning, nighttime, weekend nurser. She is a boob baby for sure.

He has shown no interest in quitting and it doesn't bother me. He is my last baby so I know I will never nurse again. He will take a bottle so I can leave him. He nurses for naps and bedtime so I don't have any reason tow ant to wean him.

And I enjoy the closeness of it and know that I'm doing something beneficial for him!

I did try to start weaning Andrew at 13 months and he just wanted no part of it. He obviously wasn't ready and honestly I wasn't either so I couldn't really see the point of stopping and torturing both of us because he was now a year old.

^^^ ditto

Aidan started weaning himself around 10 months and I really didn't want him to wean that young so I managed to keep him nursing till 14 months. So it wasn't much longer than a year.

we both liked nursing and saw no reason to stop, that's what I usually feel past a year. Im not touched out, my baby loves nursing, we're both cool with it. I get a little testy around 2 and have considered weaning at that age but have never tried.
