I spent 3 years working on a broken marriage with my ex. He cheated on me constantly and was a pathological liar. I tried to make it work but it takes 2 to tango. I do agree that people give up to easily!

defintely! i think all to often people run at the first sign of trouble. i do have one exception to that rule though: and that is abuse. no one desearves to be treated like that, and a man that abuses you does not desearve your "trying to make it work".
but, i think that if BOTH people have the attitude of "never give up" then the marrige will last forever.

In some cases yes. Some are just give in too easily.
