No, I am not as concerned about it as the media is making everyone be. I think the media is really over dramatizing it. You feel sick, watch your symptoms and then go to the Dr. if you need to. If I get pregnant I may look into it but otherwise if I get sick then I deal with it.

Chris and I got ours yesterday (via the mist). I don't normally get flu vaccines, but our niece is in the NICU and I would hate to accidentally pass it to her.

Not getting it here. DH and I feel it just isn't worth the risk of getting the shot. I generally react poorly with the flu shot or any type of vaccine. If we worked with in large populations, or if Kairi was is daycare, we might consider it... but as of now, like the Christine said, if we get sick we deal with it.

Yes. DH and I personally know two people who have died from it. One being DH's coworker who was very healthy. A little girl died from my hometown, but I didn't know her and we know plenty of people who have been sick with it including more of DH's coworkers.

And I don't watch the news.

not likely, we don't get the seasonal flu shots, so I don't see much of a point.

nope not getting it here....i am not one to trust brand new vaccines....you dont know what the long term effects are of this thing.....in the long run it may be the vaccine that kills you not the actual sickness.....i have known plenty of people who have already gotten the h1n1 and they didnt die....to them it was no worse than having the regular seasonal flu....your sick you feel like crap...you get over it....just like the flu.....

I agree... Greatest precaution.. WASH YOUR HANDS... You can stop alot of germs from spreading if you just do this one simple step
