How are you handling Karl being gone? Has it gotten easier? Now that you're at the halfway point (or close to it) do you feel ok or anxious for him to come home? Do you have any advice to ladies on here who's DH might need to leave home for a while?

i've been handling it okay....its hard doing it all by myself with the 3 girls....but its not like this is the first (or last) time he's gone....and actually with him coming home next week i feel like im running out of time on getting all the painting done LOL my plan is to also have the carpet replaced in our bedroom before he gets back haha!

as for advice KEEP BUSY....thats the only advice i got....cause the busier you are the less your mind is on how long hes been gone and it really does make the time go faster when you have something to do

Awesome! I think that's great advice, when I'm bothered by something I think getting busy is the best distraction... GL with the carpet !
