We spent our wedding night in a cheap hotel near the wedding/reception site. (We got married 2.5 hours from home.) The next day we flew out to Miami and boarded the Norwegian Sky for a 4 night 5 day cruise to the Bahamas. When we disembarked we went ahead and headed to the airport early where they put us on an earlier flight for no additional cost. After we landed at BWI (BEFORE our original depart time) we went back to the original hotel at picked up our car. We then went to a much nicer hotel for a final night. The next day we had left unplanned and decided to do whatever we felt like. We went to their well known mall, relaxed, browsed/shopped, and saw a movie before driving back home.

We didn't get what we consider our honeymoon until 2009 (we were married 2002). We went to Hocking Hills in Ohio and stayed in a cabin for the weekend. We went back this year too.

we just had a night in a casino hotel (of which we really couldnt do anything cause i was 19 when we got married haha) but it actually kinda sucked cause we both were kinda not feeling well during the ceremony...runny/stuffy noses etc...but then by that night we were both pretty sick

We went to beautiful and secluded cabin outside of Albuquerque. We stayed for 4 days.

We got Married in New Orleans, so we really honeymooned there. It wasn't a long one, but we were REALLY pressed for time. lol. We are doing 3 weeks in Canada this summer, but visiting my family can't really be called a honeymoon.
We do plan on returning to NOLA for a real vacation in a few years. Probably after we've had our kiddos...

About a week after we were married, we went to a place called Callaway Gardens that's a couple of hours from us. They have a lot of pretty trails, nice restaurants, nature centers, etc. and cabins and villas to stay in. They also had a zip-lining course, which was a lot of fun.  We only went for a weekend but it was nice.
For those who don't know, our wedding was very small and we're having our bigger ceremony this summer. We have officially planned a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, and we're both really excited. I've only ever gone once with my family and the last trip like that dh has been on was a cruise with his family when he was a teenager (he's traveled a lot but usually for business). Originally we thought about doing Disneyworld but we ended up settling on Mexico instead.

we didnt have a honeymoon. 7 months after our wedding we had a reception and went on a 2 day road trip and then last summer took a cruise to make up for it

We went on a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise (Grand Cayman, Honduras, Mexico and Belize) then spent a week right outside of Disney.

We didn't have one. A few days after we got married he was deployed overseas for a year. When he came home we were just ready to start our lives. It felt like we had been on hold for so long. In 3 years we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary. I am already thinking about the possibilities. But the question is do we go alone or do we bring along our boys for a wonderful family vacation. One option I have been playing around with is us going for a few days then having my mom join us with the boys. But that limits us to a nearby vacation. Hmmmm...
