Do you guys have a ritual of sorts when one or both of you gets home, where you catch up on each other's day? Or do you eat together? Or do you passionately embrace and lock lips?

DH is often home late, he has a pretty demanding office job, so often it's not before 7 . I definately embrace him passionately XP It's big fun!! Usually when he comes home early I have dinner on the table and we can eat straight away, and then we talk through the day. If he's home late I eat earlier with the girls and he eats after, but then I just sit with him and have some tea or dessert so we can talk

I'm always home first. I usually meet him at the door for a hug and kiss. Then we talk about our days as we get dinner going and settle down to a movie or game.

I'm usually making dinner when dh comes home and the door we use is right off of the kitchen, so I see him right away. I always give him a hug, if not right away as soon as he puts down his bag and hangs up his coat.

We eat together, head out to do errands (if necessary) and otherwise hang out. Sometimes we play games, sometimes we watch a movie, sometimes we just talk... Usually we'll share either a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a snack later in the evening.

I'm home with the girls. They won't let me get a look in until after they are in bed most nights.

We usually cook together then eat (while talking about our day), then I get Dakota in the bath while Josh plays PS, then we play with Dakota before putting him to bed.

After Dakota is in bed, I got to bed while Josh plays on the computer.

Cute detail I forgot: Harry always rings what time he'll be home, and ten minutes before that ( if not longer) the girls both stand with their noses pressed to the window to watch his arrival lol. and then when he gets home the race to him XP It still warms my heart every day1!

I give everyone a kiss when I walk in the door, then head to the bedroom and change into my pajamas. DH takes a shower as soon as he gets home because he's covered in sawdust. I'll lounge around a bit, then get dinner going. We fill each other in on our day while I'm cooking.

When DH gets home with the kids I kiss everyone and change the kids into more comfortable clothes. I also change into pajamas unless i plan on going to the store later. I start dinner right away because I get home around 5:45. While Im cooking I talk to DH about our days and play with the kids in the mix of it all..lol

Unfortunately i'm usually asleep when DH comes home, unless i'm nursing the baby. He gets home a little before 1am (his shift ends at midnight) I'm hoping they are going to change his schedule soon though, it was supposed to change for the new year but he's gotten the runaround *sigh*
