I do them or my BIL(who stays with us for now) does them quite often.

We use budget friendly antibacterial soap. When we had a dishwasher we used those Cascade gel pack things cuz they rocked.

Dishes done daily and the kids dont really help.

Yes we do. We use some dutch brand name tablets lol. We run it every evening, no kids allowed near it lol (we're both neat freaks, they wouldn't put things in the right order we like. Sounds terrible I know, but it makes sure nothing is damaged)

We have a dishwasher, it's old but it works.

I use Cascade Complete w/Bleach.

We run it either once a day, or every other day.

Kids don't help yet, they can't reach to put stuff away.
