Does your dh/so sweat in their sleep? What do you do to treat the sheets?

DH has always sweated in his sleep even in the middle of the winter. It's so bad that our sheets get stained. So every few months I have to buy new sheets and every 8-12 months we buy a new memory foam mattress topper. Does anyone have any tips on keeping the sweat stains out? It hasn't been that much of a problem until we moved down to Florida last year. We keep our house at a constant 76 degrees (refrigerated air) and when we sleep we have the ceiling fan and another fan on (he complains that it's too cold but still sweats).

DH sweats like a beast sometimes its horrible! i will roll over in my sleep and hit a cold wet patch and wake up! And yes we have to buy new sheets from time to time too. HOWEVER i found what REALLY helps is go get a waterproof mattress cover for your bed. We put one on ours cause the old bed, his side was slightly stained from sweat and we got a nice new memory foam bed and didnt want stains. So we put the cover on it and so far it works like a charm! Have been using it since the fall.

I don't usually but dh gets warm at night fairly easily. Our pillowcases are the worst thing - they end up with marks on them from the oil on our heads/hair. I can soak them in Oxi-Clean but it never gets all of it. We're due for a new set of sheets and mattress pad.

I second the waterproof mattress cover! DH sweats ALL THE TIME regardless of season and has a fan on him. We haven't had anything but a sheet since May to try and help.

As bad as it sounds, sheets with patterns vs solid ones last longer since the staining isn't as noticeable. Sounds terrible, but sheets are expensive!
