Here's to another week!!

How was everyone's weekend? .. and what do you have planned for this week?

My weekend was pretty good. Friday night, I took Dakota bowling. Saturday, I went to lunch and shopping with a friend then she watched Dakota while I went to a Passion Party. Sunday, Dakota and I spent some time at the house.

This week, With the exception of a doctors appt, I'll be at work most of the time!

Hello! I'm new here, I'm Brianne, married to Tim since October 2008. We have one little boy, Connor, who turned 2 in May and we're currently TTC #2!

My weekend was pretty fun! I'm a SAHM, so I try to get out and not sit around the house all day during the weekends! DH, of course, wants to just chill on the couch after working all week! lol So we work on finding a happy medium (usually, Saturday is my day to drag us out and about, and Sunday he gets to be lazy on the couch! )

Saturday we went to the AT&T National Diving Championships at our new aquatic center. We got to meet David Boudia (gold medalist in men's diving and really HOT! ) and we got his autograph and a picture with him! I don't think he was diving, most all of the Olympians were there over the weekend for the finals. And Sunday evening I went on a Mom's Night Out with my local mommies group! My weekends usually aren't that "fun"...the usual is grocery shopping and walking around target! LOL

Weekend was ok. Maggie was making me crazy last week asking for Sushi, so it was sushi night on Friday when I finally gave in. Saturday, DH took her to his folks for the day, and I took the truck in to be serviced (that was a much more expensive and muuuuch longer trip than I expected it to be), and then I got sick and spent the rest of my free day in bed sleeping - talk about a monstrous waste of a me day~! I feel ripped off.

Sunday we took my folks out for lunch to thank them for building our gazebo last month, and did laundry, kept nursing these colds. DH and I are both wrung sideways with how busy we've been for the past 8 months. Seems like we've had like 3 weekends to ourselves to do nothing since we moved into this house!

Today, I went to the podiatry office, took the cat to the vet, had a meeting with my homestudy worker. Tomorrow, I babysit 3 kids. Thursday, I have a midwife consultation.

We are adjusting to life with a newborn...weekends and weekdays are currently a blur...
