What things do you splurge or overspend on when you just can't help yourself?

Probably eating out as well.

Although when money is tight and we should be better we buy Dr Pepper...we dont go without it and we spend more on that then anything else.

We are on a super tight budget, but when I splurge for myself, it's almost always on books (that I never have time to read, lol). I'm not a very big spender.

Eating out.

I'm sure soon it will be stuff for Cameron, but we're still at the stage of everyone buying things for him still...

There's 8 of us in our family, so I don't really overspend as far as spending money on things we don't need. My splurge is my hair, I'm a hairdresser by trade and I get it done every 7 or 8 weeks or so. It's $75 (and she's being kind, it's the lady I used to work for and charges me a family rate). I also won't compromise on hairproducts, but I buy them wholesale so it's not that bad, and it is stuff I use/need.

eating out would be the one thing I think I splurge on. It's hard to say right now, because I'm trying to decorate and repaint our new house. So, anything I've spent beaucoup de bucks on the last year has been something substantial for the house. We're not taking real vacations. I don't drive anywhere. I spend money on groceries, and house necessities, and freaking pull ups. They're frigging expensive! And Maggie will NOT transition to the potty full time...
