What's the worst place to walk into as a couple as far as overspending?
With my hair stuff, dh doesn't really think of them as needs, and same goes for me when he's in a tool store.
Watch out when we go to a western/tack store, we all ride and so we both always see lots of stuff that we and especially the kids "need" and neither one of us is talking the other one out of it. If one says to the other "do we really need this" the answer is pretty much always YES!
So, we make sure we don't step into those kinds of places very often
As a couple, we really are pretty good about spending money. The only thing we overspend on together is going out to dinner, and it's pretty rare that we will. But if one of us says, "sushi," the other one's already putting on their shoes, lol.
In truth the only one to watch is my DH.
If Im in a store Im getting whatever it is we need or whatever Ive saved for. I rarely browse.
My husband will walk into a store, start browsing and walk out with several things we dont need AT ALL or could wait on and forget half of what he was supposed to get in the first place!
So, with that in mind Id say Walmart is a bad store cuz thats where we spend the most time and money anymore.
~My thanks to *Kiliki* for the siggy and Lucy S for the blinkies~
Chalk it up to the dazzling awesomeness of buying insane amounts of anything fun at costco, and pure exhaustion at the end of a busy work day. We don't eat out as often as we used to for sure, BUT, we can go for a week at a time when it's most family meals - depending on how insane work has been for me.
