What are you planning this year? Real or plastic?

If real, what type and size, eg scots pine, fraser fir, norway spruce, nordmann etc? and why?

If fake, what colour, new this year or old, fibre optics or separate lights?

Colour scheme or random?

We have an artificial spruce that stands about 7.5 ft high.

white lights, and my ornament colour scheme is green, blue, white and silver.

My second tree is just a little 3 footer. I put it on a table in our front window. I put all the non-coordinated "conversation starter" ornaments on that one. There's everything from a frederick's of Hollywood manequin in a black neglige to some really strange chickens and our old family ones from when I was a child.

Probably real and usually around 5-6ft tall.
Random color scheme.

I guess its probably a pine but I dont know...whatever they generally sale at those tree lots during December LOL. Thats what we got last year and I imagine we will do the same this year as well.

What are you planning this year? Real or plastic? fake...its about 10 feet tall since we have cathedral ceilings in our main living room...too hard to find a real one that would look good in the room

If fake, what colour, new this year or old, fibre optics or separate lights? we bought it last year, which was our first Christmas in this house, its green, with separate lights (we use multicoloured strands)

Colour scheme or random? I have a bunch of red and silver balls, but otherwise pretty random

We have a fake tree that has the white lights already on it and the whole tree spins. The color scheme is burgundy and gold. I think that this year, I'll let ds pick a new set of decorations. He'll probably go for multi-colored.

When I was younger we always had real but since I've developed an allergy to the pine so now they have to be fake, I wish we could get a real one.

It's about 5-6 feet tall. We will be using the one we bought 3 yrs ago and it's green. WE really don't do a color scheme since, I love adding ornaments that we received as gifts and that we bought each other. The lights are also seperate, that is my least favorite thing to do is string the lights on the tree...lol.

Ever since I moved out of my parents house, about 5-6 years ago, I have always had fake trees. Until last year DH and I got a real one. This year we will be out of state for the holiday then shorty after we return we are moving. So this year we wont decorate. Which makes me a bit sad, it will be the first christmas I have not decorated. BUT we will be moving from hot Phoenix to cool Milwaukee so THAT will be fun. Plus, the next christmas, we will have snow!

We go plastic. And white. Real ones go brown so fast in the heat here. Next year though I think we'll get a new green plastic one. The white ones go yellow over time.
