Gentle parenting is about guiding instead of controlling,
connecting instead of punishing,
and encouraging instead of demanding.
It's about listening, understanding, responding and communicating.

My younger two sleep fine.
My oldest(9) has issues and that's part of why he's such a grouch.

I sleep ok. Not great, I go to bed late and am up by 5a but I can't seem to change that just yet.

Normally I'd say crap because Cam is up every couple of hours and won't settle himself. But the last 2 nights he's had 5.5 hour stretches...he'd only ever done that twice before in his entire life!!! I hope it stays and continues to improve.

I don't sleep well at all. Drake is on an opposite sleep schedule right now, he is up all night and sleeps all day. It's 7:18 am right now, he went to bed a little after 5 am so I need to get to sleep soon. But that is not why I am not getting enough sleep. I have never been able to sleep. I can lay in bed for HOURS and not fall asleep. Like literally up to 6 hours and I get a headache and it sucks. And then when I do sleep I wake up like every 40 minutes, and Drake is up like 3 times or less. He is an active sleeper. And every time he "wakes" he wants a bottle which he gets, no more then 3 oz though. He does not fully wake, he fusses and he WILL fully wake if I don't give him the bottle, well MOST times. But anyways, my problem too is, I am tired for the most part of the day and then when Drake goes to sleep I get this burst of energy. So I JM, cruise the internet, then clean up and before I know it it's like 3 - 4 hours since Drake has been asleep then I go to bed and he moves around until we get up. It's ok though! He will sleep better soon. I have to cherish these hard times because they grow too fast!
