What was your wedding like? Did you go all out or was it just a small ceremony?

We didn't really go too all out. It wasn't small but it wasn't big. It was sort of in the middle. We had about 70-75 guests show up (we invited about 115). We had a church ceremony and a fancy reception, but we payed for it ourselves so we sort of had to watch it a little bit cause we were sort of a little bit low on money at the time. It was still great though

We did the JOP thing at a small little chapel with a few family/friends that could be in town.

We went with a small ceremony and I have no regrets that we did it the way we did.

We got married in the Dominican Republic on the beach with 17 of our friends/family. It was perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I didn't want a big wedding. So we had a small casual wedding. We got married the same time DH's mom and stepdad.

We had our wedding at a gazeboo in the place we lived. There were about 25 - 30 present and we were married by my uncle. It was a very small, elegant wedding. I wouldn't change a thing.

We got married in Niagara Falls at the Little Wedding Chapel. We had a total of 5 guests (DH's parents, aunt, uncle and counsin). It was a quick ceremony and after that we went for dinner and down to the falls for pictures. It was nice, but we plan on having a big bash in 5 years to renew our vows!!

For the small church we had, we had about 100 people crammed in.

We just went to a Justice of the Peace up at the county court house, no friends or anyone there with us. DH was on a one year road trip for work so all of our friends and family were at least half a country away.

a few weeks after he asked me to marry him, we were sitting on the couch talking about a vacation we wanted to take, but we couldn't figure out how we were gonna pay for it. So just kidding around I said hey I know lets get married in the back yard serve hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and take all the money and make the vacation our honeymoon. Well he loved the idea and we threw a wedding together in 3 months.
It was actually pretty nice. I got the big fancy dress that I had always wanted. A few close relatives made some other food to go with the hamburgers and hotdogs.
And we took all the money and paid for our honeymoon.

we got married in Hana Maui - overlooking the ocean - it was just dh and i - it was very intimate - very relaxed - just perfect for us
when we returned home we had a luau themed reception-party where our friends and family came dressed in hawaiian attire - we had a fantastic time - everyone still says its the most fun they ever had at a reception
and its so funny - everytime dh and i attend a wedding - he always looks at me at some point during the ceremony and says - i am so happy we got married the way that we did - and i completely agree! it was perfect for us!

We didn't go completely all out. But we did have a good sized wedding. We had about 180 ppl attend, 5 attendants on each side. We payed for most of it with the help from the inlaws. If we could change on thing, it would be that we eloped and came home for a big reception.
