I do! My DH had one of his guy friends over all day Saturday and Sunday so I didn't get to see much of him.
Thats great that you got some time just for the two of you! Sounds like you had a lot of fun![/b]

Yeah it was nice! We hadnt had a date night since April!

so we were celebrating our anniversary late (it was Sept 1st) Ugh I know what you mean about not having any time, when DH makes plans with his family it generally turns into an all weekend thing and the weekend is the only time we really have time to do stuff together.

My husband works Monday - Thursday, ten hour shifts... He always has three day weekends.
Sometimes I wish our boys were a little older, so I could find a sitter and we could go out.
I'd feel guilty leaving my toddler with someone (he's a monster), and my infant was a preemie, so I am overly over-protective! [/b]

Thats awesome, my DH worked that shift ions ago. I actually dont mind the day shift tho, especially since its straight days. I remember continentals and night shift and I would hate to ge back there again.
I actually need to find a sitter...but my kids have never been watched by anyone except my immediate family (it was my Mom watching them on the weekend) and one of my best friends. I used to babysit when I was a kid and I think I did a very good job (never had any complaints lol) but kids today seem so different...and its hard to know who you can trust (thats just my personal opinion). So it may be awhile before we find a local sitter, I wish I had more family or atleast more family close by.

Sometimes we do. My dh is in school (auto) and is doing a lot of work on the cars to get them ready to take to school for projects for his labs, so he is usually really busy. Plus he works during the week after classes, so we don't get a lot of time together.[/b]

Awww thats too bad! I am sure all the hard work will pay off though. My DH loveees cars, he almost took an apprenticeship to be a mechanic. He loves working on them too. Right now he builds logging machines...sorta like big cars LOL hey! They even have cd players in them! (I guess even loggers needs to listen to some tune-age)
