Hi I'm Randi, member of the November 2010 PR. My daughter Mayley has me worried and I need advice from you ladies if you can. Four nights ago Mayley started screaming/crying out in her sleep! She stays asleep and at times is practically inconsolable! What do you think this could be? Will it pass?

Oh she was so sick last week that I had to take her to childrens hospital because she was dehydrated. She is meeting all of her milestones and then more. She is fourteen weeks old.

Please any and all thoughts and advice are welcome!

Thanks in advance

do you know if she is at the "growth spurt" stage yet?

I am not sure --- I know that Jackson will do this sometimes but I don't think it is the hysterical cry but if I put the paci back in he is fine...

I would maybe call the Ped and ask...

Hope that it passes very soon and is something totally normal.

I was also thinking maybe a growth spurt. I know that sometimes when Megan is going through one she does that. But unfortunately it could just be one of those "I'm gonna cry and not have a reason moment" It never hurts to call the pedi though it is what they are there for!

I agree that it could just be a growth spurt or even just a restless sleep I need to cry thing. I know when Sam hits a new milestone he doesn't sleep quite as well, it's like his little brain is in overdrive so maybe that? or teething? some babies are early teethers, it is hard to say but I hope it passes quickly for you.
