I love baby wearing, but Maddie and I both hate the current baby carrier we have. I am not sure what brand it is but it is one with all the uncomfortable buckles and harnesses. I find it very uncomfortable to wear and a pain to get her in and out of it, and she doesn't seem to enjoy it that much either.

I would love to hear some suggestions for ones you have loved or had good experiences with. I have heard good things about the Moby and the baby K'atan (I think that's how it's spelled), but I wanted some more opinions before making a decision.

For a baby older than 4 MONTHS i totally recommend an ergo! I still wear my daughter in it, she's 17mnths and 28 pounds.

I second the ergo..you can actually use it as early as the newborn stage, provided you use the newborn insert. We have one and loved it from about 4 weeks on. We also had a baby K'Tan when DS was a newborn. As he grew, I didn't find it as comfortable, and I worried about his spine getting support from the sling-type holder, so we stopped using it. We are now all-ergo
