What kind of support system do you have? SO? Family? Friends?

With Charlie a lot was on my hubby. My family lives 9 hours away and my in-laws weren't really the greatest support system. Sometimes I wish I had more people that I could call when I need to but on the other hand I'm proud that I can do it on my own. It does make me jealous though of everyone who has people to visit them, babysit, or even come over just for an hour so Mommy can take a well deserved nap!

I am very fortunate to have a great support system. First and foremost dh is fantastic. He takes feeding duty so I can cook supper every night. He also does all the laundry and lets me take off and go shopping when I need to just get out.

My MIL babysits in our home Mon - Thurs. And my parents babysit Friday nights so dh and I can go play league pool.

Its nice to have the ability to make a phone call and know that someone will help.

My family lives a little over 2 hours away, so they usually only come to visit on weekends. I have plenty of church friends that offer to babysit, I've just rarely had a need for one. The first few weeks after she was born were pretty difficult and a little overwhelming, but it's all peachy now. The two of us manage pretty well on our own nowadays.

DH is amazing! I also have my parents 45 min from us and DH's parents 30 min from us.
