A mother whose son was born with a rare form of cleft palate that left him with no eyes has made an inspiring video revealing their struggles - and how the baby boy battled their bullies with his laughter.
In the YouTube video, Lacey Buchanan, from Woodbury, Tennessee, holds up cards describing her excitement at falling pregnant with son Christian, and the fears and snide comments that followed.
During the seven-minute film, she holds one-year-old Christian into her chest, only revealing his face to the camera at end of the video as she kisses him and shows him off proudly.

Omg I cried watching this. Lacey must be so strong and amazing! It's inspiring how people can go through so much and still carry a big smile on their faces! I don't understand how people can be so cruel and so judgmental of others who are different. Obviously this little guy is beautiful and full of joy and laughter. This video really makes you thankful of the obstacles you don't have to face as well.

I feel the same way. I have been worried about my daughter's developmental milestones and seeing her video made think of life differently through how strong she is. I will always list her on one of the most inspiration people I have ever know. I just hope people continue to hear her story so whatever they are going through they can get strength by her story.
