Do you swaddle your LO? Do you swaddle them with their arms in or out of the blanket?

I tried swaddling Charlie but it had the opposite effect. If I swaddled him with his arms in he would freak out. I guess he didn't like feeling constricted....

Kynslee LOVED being swaddled! When she was newborn she'd loved being swaddle with a starting the swaddle like normal but them ending it when it was in a knot at her neck. My sister suggested that to me in the hospital and Kysnlee would relax once in that hold and the nurses at the hospital were impressed. For the first week she was swaddled a lot as she loved it so much and then for the first 6-7 wks I'd swaddle her with the knot around her neck for naps and at night. Then, once she out-grew that we swaddled her for naps and at night until about 7 months old - she loved being swaddled but only at nights.

It's funny that she liked being swaddle as she was never a cuddly baby as she was too active and would always look around and didn't like to be 'confined' to the cuddle hold.

We always pulled her hands out of her swaddles as she liked to sleep with her hands over her head or by her ears
dragonfly likes this.

MY LO hated to be swaddled from the day he was born. He kicked a lot and had to have his arms out wiggling around.
