How did you choose your infant's name? Did you like it right away or have a hard time coming up with a name? Is your child named after anyone (first or middle name)?

My daughter was named before my husband and I even met!

Her first name is after his mom who passed away in 2000.

Her middle name is one I've liked forever.

Ds1 was named just because I've always loved the 1st name & his middle name is the same as dh's.
Ds2 was named after my grandfather.
Ds3 was hard since it was the third boys' name we had to think of, but since the first two had biblical names we decided to pick his from the bible too.

Kynslee was a girl's name that we so happen to agree upon so it stuck. she has 2 middle names Lynn and Raquelle. Lynn is MIL's MN and Raquelle is spanish(well, we have slightly different spelling) for Rachel which is my moms name.

When we first found out we were pregnant we tossed a few boys names around and a few girl names. We really waited until we found out what we were having--a girl. We spent 3 months picking a girl's name that paid tribute to me and my hubby.

We delivered a boy and only had 3 days to name him. We knew his middle name would be Robert like my hubby and just tried to pick a name that went with that middle name and sounded good with only our last name. It was very difficult and we literally did not finalize his name until a couple hours before we were released. Thank goodness I had a c-section and had to spend the time in the hospital rather than be rushed out and having to pick a name in a day...LOL

Christopher Robert - I hope he likes it.

Oddly enough we found out that was one of the names that my MIL had picked out for my husband.

Kyler's name came from mommies and daddy's together. schuyler+kati= kyler. When we have a girl her name will be aria because we love it and the meaning behind it.
