Hi, first time mom here! My daughter is 3 weeks old today and I know she will be going through growth spurts on and off but I'm just wondering if she might be eating too much?
Sometimes she will eat only 1 1/2 ounces then be fine for 3 hours. but then days like today she can eat 4-5 ounces every two hours and still be a Tad fussy. Is that normal?

I would say yes, but I always say to check with your doc as well! Some babies comfort "nurse" as well, so that could be part of it. My son JUST started eating 6 oz a week ago. Before then, it was 4oz since he was about 4 weeks old, if not 6 weeks. (Can't remember). My best friends son was about 1-2weeks old and would sometimes eat up to 5 ounces! I could hardly believe it! I think it varies baby to baby and when they are hitting their growth spurt.
