I'm a doctoral researcher looking at post-traumatic stress after stressful events, like childbirth. I'm trying to see what types of social support protect against negative reactions to these stressful events. I would be really grateful if any new mums could fill out the survey, thinking about their experiences of labour. It should take about 10-15 minutes and it's online.
Please PM me if you're interested in participating and I'll send you the link!
If you complete the survey now and again in a year's time (I'll email to remind you), then I'll enter you into a draw to win one of 2 x £100 ($166) prizes.
Thanks a lot for considering this.
(Finally, I just want to mention that I know childbirth isn't necessarily "traumatic," and in fact can cause a lot of emotions! While some people may have positive memories, others may have negative ones, and most people probably have some of both.)
