Did you have very many visitors when you were in th hospital/birthing center/home when you had your baby? Were you up for company the first day your baby was born?

I had extremely high blood pressure and they wouldn't allow visitors and then I had surgery 24 hours later due to complications. I was so high, I was glad that I didn't have visitors and when I did, I wasn't ready for them because I was just coming out of everything..

We didn't have many visitors because I really didn't want them to come there. I rathered have them visit at home. We were only in the hospital for two days too.

I had quite a few visitors, due to the fact that I had Carson at the hospital where I worked, I didn't mind though.

Nope! I put a ban on anyone visiting in the hospital, only DH was allowed. We had MIL and GMIL show up at our house the second day we were home with Eric. I hated it, I wanted some time to get settled, but he told them they could come that early.

I just had a few. I wanted more but no one wanted to come. I didn't even get flowers or anything like that It made me cry

Throughout the 4 days that I was in the hospital, we had just about everybody from both of our familes come visit. But Blake was in the NICU, so everybody was very worried about him and wanted to be close. I honestly wasn't up for visitors other than our immediate family the whole time I was there. It seemed like everytime the doctors would give us bad news about Blake, family would show up to visit. And all I wanted to do was go see my baby or sit with DH and cry, not entertain visitors.

I did and I so wish I didn't. I wasn't up for visitors for about a week after we got home but no one would listen and came anyways.

We didn't have too many, I made it very clear that I didn't want a lot of people coming in right away either to the hospital or to our house. So it was just immediate family for the first few weeks and then friends started dropping in.
