I am 28 years old, and DH is 33. We just started TTC#1 in June 2008. I have been on the pill, except for four years ago, when I was an egg donor for my sister. The process went okay, I was able to produce 11 eggs, but I guess only 4 of them fertilized, and none of them stuck. The doctor told me that there was something wrong with the borders of the eggs, that the sperm would have a difficult time entering, and that we should start TTC right away.
Well, now we have started.
I have been off BC pills for two cycles, and then we started in June. My cycles are 29 days long. The first cycle did not work.

Day 2 of Cycle 2-
My period is almost over. I hope that we are able to conceive quickly because my periods are much more painful being off the pill.
Goals for this cycle- better tracking of secondary symptoms and use ovulation predictors starting on day 9.

Cycle Day 12- I think ovulation is approaching. I have been monitoring CM better this cycle, and today got a strong line on my ovulation predictor test. Isn't a relief to know that you actually do ovulate? It's like Step 1- check.
Step 2- sperm reaching the egg, I am not too worried about.
Step 3- sperm penetrating the egg, I think this might be our/my problem.
Step 4- implantation- we'll see.
