Hi Ladies
As most of you know I'm Laci (21), DH is Michael (22). We've been ttc#1 since Jan 07' with a depo shot in Aug 07' so you could say we were on a break from Aug 07'-Nov 07'. Unfornately for me it took a while for the depo to get out of my system and for me to get a "normal" cycle. Now that I finally have got a normal cycle they've been all over the place. I just recently went and seen a new obgyn/infertility specialist. Who told me that its possible that I do have PCOS since I O at all different times in my cycle and some cycles I'll go without ovulating at all!! He agreed to to do 4 months of 50mg-clomid and folic acid-1mg everyday and then off 2 medicated cycles. We are suppose to repeat that process 3 times until a year is up. If we are still not pg by then my doc will order an HSG and S/A for DH. I'm hoping after only the first 6 months that I can get him to change his mind. Because to me it seems like a waste of time of doing a year of Clomid when its possible that DH is the problem the whole time (which I'm praying its all me). In the last 2 years of ttc I've watched numerous friends have 1-2 kids along with my neice who was 15 at the time (please dont judge) and a cousin that is my age. I'm currently waiting for my 3rd & 4th SIL to give birth to her first child. I have 4 SIL's the oldest has 2 under the age of 3, next to oldest has been pg but it was ectopic and she lost her one tube, the middleish one she is 7 months pg with a boy whose due on March 22nd (I think) and last but not least my 4th (half SIL) is 4 months pg with her first. So that makes all 4 of my SIL's pg before me Its heartbreaking but me and DH spoil them to death until we have one of our own.
Over the past 2 years me and DH have had our ups and downs like every other couple. We struggle to know which one of us has the problem. There are days when I just want to say AHH I GIVE UP But I know that god has a plan for us and one day soon we will have a beautiful child of our own! If it wasnt for the wonderful girls of JM I'm pretty sure I would have lost my sanity LONG ago!! I want to take this chance to all you girls that have had unconditional support for me no matter what and I also want all you ladies to know that if there is ANYTHING you ever need please do not hesitate to ask! For the past 2 years ya'll have been part of my rock (besides DH). Thank you all so much for everything that you have done/said to me ! But I guess I'm done rambling now. This journal is unfornately really late but I will update it as I go through my Clomid journey!!

Today so far hasn't be good. I thought I had myself talked into being okay with being out this cycle but I see all of you girls that will be testing around the time I should be and I know I can't test because I'll see a BFN. Plus this morning I was woke up by AF cramps so I know she's on her way. I was secretly wishing that my temp dropped this morning so that I could convince myself that the is on her way! But it was pretty much the same as yesterdays temp. I'm so anxious to start next cycle its not even funny! Everday I see my clomid sitting on the kitchen table and I want so bad to take it!! I'm praying so hard that we will get pg on our first cycle of clomid. But if DH is the problem I have no hope. I was really hoping the new doc would order an S/A for DH. To me I think its pointless to even start MA without having an S/A done b/c whose to say its him and here I am taking Clomid to get pg when there isnt a chance if we have MFI. I'm sooo scared that its him b/c then there is really nothing we can do and I know it would CRUSH DH if the problem was him. Well I'm done ranting now thanks for listening

Laci-

I think that Clomid sitting there scared your body straight...fwiw, this is the prettiest BBT chart you've had...
Can't wait to hear about good news next cycle

PS-You can order an at home SA if you want to test but not go to a dr about it...I think some of the ladies on the board can tip you as to the best ones to use...

Your chart looks good... Hope that you get a or AF comes so that you can start new with the Clomid.

It's hard when you think you are out, and just want AF to come...I am the same way, I just want the next cycle to start cause I'm sure I won't be getting a this cycle.

Good luck Laci!!! I wish you either get AF and are able to start a fresh cycle or you get your BFP!!! And I really hope Clomid does the trick for you!!!

...I have heard about the at home SA, but I'm not sure how pricey they are?!

SHE SHOWED!!!! YAY!!! BUT I'm in soooooo much pain right now I'm praying that the ibprofen will hurry up and take effect!!

I've thought about at home S/A but they are kind of pricey and dont always work from the reviews I heard about them but its something to think about if my doc refuses to do an S/A after 6 months!

That would be so strange if the dr refused to do a SA...I mean, he's making you do an awful lot to your body, putting it through CLomid and all, you'd think that theyd want to at least make a quick check on your DH...

Anyway, glad AF is here finally, and you can start on this great cycle!

Heard about the crazy weather going on up there - that was like topical storm strength winds, that's just crazy!

I think after our first 6 months on clomid I'm going to ask for an SA anyways. I dont see why he would refuse to give us one! And with DH getting laid off (if its permently) we dont know how long our insurance will cover is for so I want to get it done before we lose our insurance! Plus we would have to pay out of pocket for all the testing and meds so we have to wait and see what DH shop says next week...

Well yesterday was my first day of taking Clomid. So far so good. I havent had any side effects yet! Fingers crossed that I don't have any!! Plus starting 2 days ago I'm cutting back on my caffeine intake usually I drink a couple cups of coffee in the morning and drink pop all day long. But now I'm only drinking one cup of coffee in the morning and drinking juice or gatorade during the day So hopefully I can keep that up!!

Here's to hoping you don't have any side effects! That's great that you're cutting caffeine. I've done the same thing. It was really hard at first but it got easier. I only drink pop sometimes when we go out now.
