March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.
2 DPIUI... Temp is still in the 98's, so I'm positively confident that I did indeed O on Monday.
This is going to be the absolute longest TWW in all my months of TTC. I'm dying and I haven't even gotten CH's yet! UGH!!! I'm gonna go nuts!!
Tomorrow morning is my u/s to confirm O. I imagine they'll give me the date for my blood test. I'm thinking about fibbing to Danny and telling him a different date for my blood test, so if it worked, I can still surprise him with the results. Lord knows I've got like a gabillion digi tests in there!!
We got a new car!!! It's a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander leftover, so we got an excellent deal on it. It's got all the things I wanted... a sunroof, 6 disc in dash changer, satellite radio, 3rd row seating (small seats made for kids), inputs for MP3 players... it's just GREAT!! I have pics, but Photobucket is down for maintenance, so I'll post a pic once it's back up.
They're calling for 90 degrees today Hopefully I don't roast to death!!

Thanks for all the compliments!! I do love the crap outta that car! And the best part is... I get the car all the time!
When we lived in Harrisburg and both drove to work, he always got to drive the new car. When I left my job so we could move to Philly for his career, we sold my car and became a one car family. Now that we're in Delaware and he takes the train in every day, I get the new car this time!!
I got a phone call from my mom yesterday saying they'd had a blackout and now my dad couldn't get online. They wanted to know if Danny would stop by after work to take a look and see if he could fix it. He said he would, so I drove in, picked him up & went over to my folks.
While he was upstairs working on the computer, I told my parents that I had news. My dad says "You're pregnant." I said, "Um, no... well... no." My mom says "Oh, well if you're not pregnant then I don't want to hear it." teasing me.
I told them about our IUI being on Monday. It's funny because initially they looked so confused, like they had no idea what I was talking about. I say it's funny because I've talked to them about all of this, what we're doing, why we're doing it, etc. Then I decided to tell them something else...
I told them that Danny and I got married. Some of you probably remember that he and I went to the JP the day after our 10 year anniversary back in December and got married. We didn't tell anyone other than our 2 friends who were our witnesses.
We wanted to do a small ceremony/reception later on for our parents because we didn't want them to be disappointed, but we both just felt like we wanted to just go and do it.
Well, when my dad was in the hospital a few weeks back, he, my mom and I were sitting there talking about the wedding and my dad suggested we go to the JP and have a shindig later on if we wanted. You could've knocked me over with a feather when they said that because my sister has gotten married TWICE without anyone being there, so I thought they'd be mortified if I did it too!
Well, I bit the bullet and told them about it... and they were absolutely wonderful about it. They smiled so big, congratulated me, hugged and kissed me and told me as long as we were happy, that's all they cared about.
I feel so wonderful now that I'm not carrying this secret around anymore. I explained to them my reasons for keeping it a secret, all of which they assured me were unnecessary. They hugged Danny when he came down and he looked all confused like "What just happened?" It was good.
Now, on to cycle related news... As you've all seen, I got my CH's today. WOO HOO! No fall back temp this cycle, I've noticed.
U/S confirmed O on my left side... I go back on Monday for a progesterone draw, then another on Wednesday to see if I need more cooter pills and then my Beta is the following Monday. I may buckle and pee on something before that though! I've got a crap load of digis in my bathroom!
Another beautiful day here... I did some shopping after my appt... pet food, fruit, veggies, case of beer for the 3 day weekend. I've got a few more things to pick up, but I'm sitting down for a glass of lemonade and a breather at the moment!
We lived in Harrisburg too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DH & I just looooved it there. We were both really sad when the company he was working for downsized and we were forced to move We lived there for about 3yrs and I would have to say some of the best friends we ever had, are from there. Did you live close to downtown? We were out closer to Hershey, off 22 ( I cant even remember the name of the subdivision we were in). But that's cool, we miss it there.
SOOOO happy things are going so great for you in your IUI cycle, I'm keeping my fingers & toes crossed really tight for you, that this will be it for you!! Have a fun w/e and let us know how your blood tests go on Monday!
We lived in Harrisburg too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No way?!?!? We still have friends that live there too. Even though we're only about a 2 hour drive away, unfortunately we don't see them as much as I'd like.
CD 20 - 4 DPO of Our 15th Cycle...
Temp dropped some today. Kinda bummed me a little bit, but I've now realized it's just because I was hoping for the perfect "pretty" chart. Which is silly because I know pretty charts don't mean anything. Lord knows I've had more than my fair share of beautiful picture perfect charts only to have them end up meaning diddly squat.
I think I'm starting to feel the beginning of some bb soreness. I wonder if it's the Return of the Angry Whoppers? I haven't seen them in some time.
No real big plans for the holiday weekend. We're gonna take a trip over to BJ's for beverages and Home Depot for some supplies for projects we wanna work on. Aside from that, we're gonna grill, take the dog to the park, play Wii (we're unlocking stuff on Mario Kart) and just hang out together. Nice and relaxed.
Okay... gotta go... the grill is ready for steaks!!
Sounds like you have a fun relaxing weekend.. I know what you mean about wanting pretty charts.. whenever my temp goes down I try to think of any excuse to say it's inaccurate! But we know pretty charts don't necessarily mean anything, and that the not so pretty charts often end up in BFPs! So chin up girl! I am going to be staring at your in a week or so!!
