Have a 3:30 vet appt for Wally... he's not worse, but he's not a ton better either. He seems to be thirsty and hungry, because he keeps going to the water and he purrs when food is in front of him, but he doesn't take much. So I've decided it's off to the vet... no more guessing and wondering.
I'm considering testing at 10 dpo... It's early enough that a BFN won't necessarily mean the end of everything, ya know?
I'm so afraid to get my hopes up... but deep down inside, I'm hoping with all my might!
No more pink cm at the moment... Went to pee and all's clear.
I am glad you're bringing Wally to the vet - I hope it's nothing and your mind will be put at ease. I hate when my dogs are sick so I know how you feel.
Your chart is looking really good I hope you get your bfp this month! Good luck if you test at 10dpo...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for u!! bfp dust
Good luck with Wally!!! Hopefully it's nothing of concern and the doctor can reassure you (and him).

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.
Wally Update: Got to the vet about 15 mins early and was taken back after only waiting about 5 mins in the lobby.
I explained what's been going on and what my concerns were as the vet gave him a thorough physical exam. She said his temp was fine and noticed that his gums were a touch on the pale side, which could be a sign of anemia and that he has a slight heart murmur. Other than that, she said upon physical examination, other than him being a bit overweight (18.7 lbs... but down from the 27 he was when we got him! ) and a bit dehydrated, she saw nothing striking.
She decided to do b/w and rehydrate him. She said since he's not vomiting any longer, she didn't think x-rays were appropriate at this point. If his b/w shows something that requires further investigation, then we'll do the x-rays at that point.
So they took him in the back to take his blood and give him fluids. They brought him back and gave me a syringe with 2 cans of Hills prescription Critical Care. She said since he hasn't really eaten in the past few days, it was time to start force feeding him, otherwise his liver could start to have problems.
Before we sat down to dinner, I mixed some of his food with water so it could be sucked into the syringe and pried open his mouth while Danny held him. After the first 3 or 4 shots, he started licking the syringe, so I just held the whole bowl up to his face and he started eating all by himself!!! And so far, everything is staying down!!
We're gonna give him a bit more before bed... but now that he's been given IV fluids and has actually eaten a bit, I feel so much better. Seeing him eat was the best thing I could've asked for! And I can't thank you all enough for all of your prayers!
I'm so glad that Wally is doing better. I am a huge cat lover so I can really relate to how hard it is to lose them and how worrying it is when they are sick. I've been following his progress with your updates and it was getting pretty scary. I'm so relieved to hear he's eating on his own now, that's such a good sign. I hope he feels 100% again soon, the poor guy. Do you have pictures of him when he was 27 pounds and then his new weight? Fat kitties are just so adorable.
So we fed him some breakfast this morning. I gave him a syringe full just to get the taste in his mouth and then he ate a bit on his own. It wasn't as much as I wanted, so I gave him another 2 syringes and then took him outside for some fresh air. He laid down and rolled over a bit to offer me his belly to rub... something he hasn't done for a few days. So we're seeing bits of progress every day.
So after all the pink cm yesterday, I was afraid that my temp would drop today and I'd be facing a short LP... what with this being a completely natural cycle and all.
Instead, I woke to some hellacious gas and my highest temp this cycle. My cervix is still super high and super mushy. I'm still pondering the idea of testing tomorrow.
I want this to be it soooo badly!! If it is, I won't have to lift anything heavy when we move at the end of October!! I'll get to do all the easy stuff!
They're calling for it to be a hot one today... probably our last of the year, as yesterday was the last day of Summer. We're FINALLY getting rid of our mattress after like 10 years! It's been killing my hips forever, so I've gotta go order and pay for the new one today. But Danny asked me to mow the grass before I go "shopping", so I'm gonna go do that while it's still cool out.
being gassy is a GREAT SIGN!!!!!!! I was super gassy the days leading up to my BFP. I'm so excited!! You definitely should test tomorrow with the reminder that it could still be too early. But, if yesterday was IB, you hopefully should see a line
Wow, I totally think your pregnant Nikki...seriously! I would also test tomorrow if I were in your shoes and like Lyz said keeping in mind that its pretty early. But with that pink cm and then temp rise, AHHHH!

I am sooooooo hoping this is your time, Nikki!!! I am so excited to see what happens when you test!!
And hooray for Wally starting to feel more normal again!! I love the pictures before and after his weight loss! Wow was he a BIG kitty!! See ours is wide- she's so skinny in the front and back and then has this big round belly. When we took her to the vet last, he said she was normal, but anytime my parents or anyone comes over the first thing I hear is "wow, she's wide!". If they had the 'old' Wally to compare to, they wouldn't think that!!

Hope wally is feeling better!!!!!!!! your chart is crazy different than the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited and hope you'll test this morning!!! I'm gonna go crazy if you don't update before I go to work! this looks/sounds pretty promising!
glad wally is feeling better! crossables crossed!!
Wally is much improved!! He started following me around a bit while I was cooking last night, then he tried to run out the door when I left to pick Danny up from the train station.
When we got back, we took him and the dog out in the backyard. He was laying on the ground and there was a stick in front of him. I went to pick up the stick and he started swatting at it!
The absolute best was when we sat down to eat dinner, he jumped up on his little table, letting us know he was ready for dinner too!!! He ate all of his dinner and had some breakfast this morning... I cannot tell you how happy I am. Seriously!!
In cycle news... temp went down some today. My cervix is still high and really soft, but I saw a tinge of pink in my cm again and I'm cramping on and off... so I'm thinking I'm probably out.
I did test though... I thought I had gotten some good ones, but I only had an IC and I had already peed in the cup. Anyway... it was a BFN, as I expected.
I'm not feeling all down or anything yet... but, I think that's because I'm just so happy about Wally right now.
Flat temps today... I guess I got what I asked for! As I was laying in bed waiting for the beep, I kept thinking "Please don't let it go down... Please don't let it go down." And it didn't... It didn't go up either! Guess I need to be more specific.
We were hanging out with my SIL's & BIL last night and I swore when we got home I was gonna find spotting in my undies. I was afraid to cough or anything!! On the drive home I was a freakin' gas machine... but Danny says he's been gassy the past couple of days too, so maybe it's something we ate..?
Got home, peed, wiped, closed my eyes and hoped for clean tissue. All clear. When I woke up this morning and peed, I went through the same ritual. Pee, wipe, pray... (Maybe Julia Roberts will make a movie by that name) All clear again. I thought there might be a bit of something when I went in to check CP... nothin'.
I really feel like I'm through the next few days!!
