Oh sweetie...I wish I could just go over there to Ireland right now and give you a huge !! You make a great *pretend mommy* AND you will make an even better real mommy!

Wanted to drop by and let you know that I was thinking of you...

FWIW, having a March/April baby is the absolute best!!! Can take baby out in the spring and summer, and the most uncomfortable part of your pregnancy will be during the winter months...and not the hot summer...

Just wanted to drop off some more for you...

My mom said the same thing as Tonya! My sister's b-day is in March and she said being the biggest during the winter was more comfortable. I... on the other hand, have a b-day in September... so she was at her biggest in like July & August which are generally horrifyingly humid months in Philadelphia!

Personally, I just think it's just too fitting and perfect for you guys to have your baby in the month of St. Patty!!

Thanks girls
Wow what a weekend.. I'm so so tired... On friday night after work I had a 2.5 hr dance rehearsal for the show and we all went out afterwards. I got home at 3am...

I was working on Saturday at 9am untill 6pm then the girls in work (10 of us) went to an Anne Summers party. (not sure if ye have those parties in USA/ Canada but great fun. Got home at 3am again...

I was working on Sunday from 12 to 6 then rush down to the theatre to get into make-up and costume and was on stage at 8pm show ended at 11pm and we went for a few drinks afterward. I got home at 2am

So OMG I'm so so tired today and to top it all off AF came today 1st one in 5 months so OUCH...
It's ny nephews 2nd birthday se we are heading to see him and my niece soon. Really looking forward to that...

Oh and not sure if I told ye but some good news
There is a hospital in Dublin (5hr drive from me) that have started doing IVF for public patients (which means free) I'm so
I rang them and asked how I get my name on the waiting list. They told me to get my GP to send a feral letter. So I rang my GP and he is sending them a letter. Really don't know how long the waing list it could be a year or two but at least there is a plan just in case b/c we would never be able to afford IVF.

Oh and I have been called for Jury Duty tomorrow My sister-in-law works on the radio and told me she thinks it's a big Drugs Case...

Sorry about the jury duty but hip-hip-hooray for getting on the free IVF waiting list! Sounds like you had a fun but busy weekend. Hope you can relax and get some rest. Have a wonderful week!

Oh Becks!! That's so fantastic about the free IVF!!! Of course I totally hope by the time they call your number you don't need it, but better to be on the list and NOT need to be, than NOT be on it and NEED to be, ya know?

Just FAB!!!!

And I'm gonna say YAY for AF. I know she sucks and everyone hates her... but I really think it'll be good for your body to get a chance to go through it's natural flushing cycle, ya know? It hasn't done it for a while now... so I think it'll be good. I just hope she's not too terribly rough on you.

Ok so I have a little bag that I put all my DR and hospital receipts in ( i can claim back 40% back at the end of the year) I also have a free travel pass b/c I look after my mom.
Anyway I was going to Dublin on the train (5hr journey) it's about €65 trip so I thought I'll use my free travel pass and went looking for the bag. NOWHERE to be found I had it 2 weeks ago and I put it away somewhere safe so I wouldn't loss it. OMG I tore the house apart looking for it and nope can't find it.
So I paid for the train
I went up to find out about the public IVF and get my name on the list.

1) It is free if you have a medical card.
Medical cards are given to people that are out of work or on a very low wage so the Dr and med's are free. I got a medical card last October when I was out of work the last a year before you reapply. Now I'm working full time and don't think I'll get it. So my brain is wrecked on how to keep my medical card.
a) is it worth giving up my Job...
b)Will my boss give me part time hrs for the month of October so my wage will be low enough to get the medical card...

Nothing is every just simple there is always some obstacle that stands in the way...

2) there is two Dr's that take on IVF for free with medical cards.
a) Dr Resis. He is a general Gyno that also does IVF. But he works on all gyno problems. His waiting list is 1st consultation is September.
b) Dr Mccue He is a fertility Specialist. And does IVF etc all the time. He has a longer waiting list 1st appointment is January.

So who do I put my name down with????

Today was very busy in work. So many new babies in and also women that are nearly due. I think that on top of being tired from yesterdays travel and my head being so full with info and decisions I just cracked. I came home and had a good cry on how life isn't fair... Why is everything we try always have to have obstacles and decisions to make instead of it being so easy. I'm sure tomorrow being mothers day and a lot of my friends being a mom isn't helping...

I'll be grand again all I need is some rest... and to get over tomorrow..

Do you have the option to meet with both Drs? What if you meet with Dr. Resis and decide that you don't like him? Will you have to wait longer to meet the other one? If you can I'd put my name on both lists and if you end up loving Dr. Resis then you can always cancel the other one.

As for the medical card ~ Oct. is still 6 months away. I wouldn't fret about it just yet. I know that we're both compulsive planners but there's no sense in losing sleep over it now.

I'm so happy that IVF is now an option for you. Hopefully you won't need to worry about it, but at least it's there if you do!

Kim I can only put my name down with one Dr. I'm going for Dr Resis. I mean he does the same as the other Dr and his waiting list is shorter...

I have (fingers crossed) my last smear test on Tuesday. I just hope and pray I get a clear result.
Then I'll finish off my pill. Once AF shows up I am going to start temping again and try for 3 cycles brfore we try IUI.
I'm excited and nervous to be starting again. I just really hope and pray that we don't need IUI and we'll get or BFP.
I'm going to ask my dr about maybe getting meds or injections ( I can get them free on medical card ) Timed home insemination with scans and injections might be the way to go. I'll have to talk to her next week when I go in.

Things with me have been kind of crazy. We are in the middle of rehearsals for a big show on 13th of April. So I've been working and straight to dance rehearsals 5 nights a week. I'm so tired but I love it and this might be my las show for a while if I get my bfp.
Money is still realy tight for us but work is starting to pick up for Maurice so at least it's something...

Some exciting news for me... I'm not sure if anyone here believes in Angels. Anyway there is a lady in Ireland that wrote a book about her life. She was very ill and started seeing and talking to angels. Now she meets with people and helps them with any problems they are having and gives them messages from there angels. I am having a reading done by her on 27th April. I'm really looking forward to it.
I believe that Angels are with us all the time. I'm really excited about meeting her.

From the FB and JM updates, it does sound like you have been keeping yourself busy during your wait. I hope it went relatively fast for you!

Good luck on Tuesday sweetie! I really hope you'll get your BFP in the next few months and won't have to do the IUI! I'll be praying for you

I definitely believe in angels. I don't necessarily believe people can communicate directly with them but who knows for sure!

Ok so Smear was today it went ok there was a bit of bleeding and I have mind cramps since this morning.
I didn't get to see the Dr it was the nurse I was with I asked her about my egg reserve test that was done she said riing me after luch with the results.
I also asked if I could maybe try Clomid and injections for a few cycles before we try IUI in July. Just to see if it works she said she'd speak to the dr and let me know.

She did ring me back after lunch. She said my egg reserve results came back god and that my dr would talk about them at the next appointment. But it looked good to her.
She also said that the Dr didn't want me to try any med's for fertility b/c she didn't want the extra hormones to make the Endo come back faster. She thinks I should stay on the pill untill IUI so there will be no Endo and I will give IUI the best try possible.
I really wanted to start trying again. I will get results of smear in a bout 10 days 'm think will I just go off the pill if it's clear and just give it a go without telling the Dr and then I think Don't be silly and listen to the dr she knows best.
I'm really confused What will I do wait again untii July for IUI or try on our own for 2 to 3 cycles...
I wish I had a crystal ball that would let me see the future. Why can't decisions be easy to make.

It is such a hard decision sweetie, I'd say talk it over with your DH and your doctor and decide from there...either way, crossing all fingers and toes that you will be PG by the end of the summer, and be celebrating the birth of YOUR baby at this time next year!!

I hope that you're right Becks! You've been so patient for so long that you deserve a fast BFP! I've often heard that you're extra fertile right after coming off bcp. I hope that this is the case for you too.
