So excited to watch your first Clomid cycle unfold!! Glad your detox is working too... I should probably do something like that if I end up having to take a cycle off. I would at least feel somewhat proactive then! I know EXACTLY what you mean about Clomid getting your hopes so high... I was so sure it would work I was thinking like I was already pregnant! And who knows, I still might be. I hope it works for you the first time and you never have to find out how you'd react to a BFN after Clomid!! Here's some fast O and sticky bean dust for you!

I am really hoping that the Clomid is the missing link for you and that you are well on your way to a BFP cycle!!

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies

CD5 is here

I keep telling myself if it doesn't work this cycle its okay...cycle 16 or 17 really whats the difference. I'm just so excited to finally try something. I talked to my doctor this morning and she recommend not doing the detox during the first round of clomid. She doesn't know how it would effect the Clomid. I'm kinda bummed b/c the detox was working really well for me I haven't had a bad AF like I normally do and I feel so much better after only 6 days. Oh well.

Elissa...yummm ribs...they sound so good right now. I hope you had a great b-day!

Kate - I'm going to the store today to get groceries and I told Scott I was going to make him cake balls tonight...he was like "a cake that looks like balls" I know where his head was this morning

Lee Ann I still hope you don't have to have the IUI...but if you do I hope it brings you a BFP!!!!!

Feeling good today. I decided to keep doing the colon cleanse and stop the toxin cleanse. I'm on my 2nd day of Clomid and doing good. Ive noticed some bloating today...but nothing too bad.

I went to Target today to get a few things and I bought a ton of stuff for school in the $ spot. I bought maps, flashcards, map place-mats, stickers, and books. I noticed last month they started putting out school supplies...why do they have to put that stuff out in JUNE????? Come on...cant they wait until August?????

Well now that they have stuff out I will be buying a lot of paper, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, rulers, scissors, glue sticks, and map pencils. Every year I spend about $500 on school supplies b/c I work at school that is a low income school. 99% of the kids are on some sort of govt support. So I try and buy enough to last the year for about 100 kids. The beginning of the year everything is super cheap.

It makes me kinda sad buying school supplies for other peoples kids...I want to buy school supplies for my kids. I cannot wait to be a mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad the Clomid is going well!! Just a few things to prepare for- you'll probably get really REALLY bloated around O time, and your temps will probably be a little higher while you are on the pills and right after- then they'll drop back down. Just don't let that alarm you!!

I'm keeping an eye on your chart, girl!! I hope it works for you!!

Thanks for the heads up Jackie!!! I figured it would get worse around O time...now I kinda know whats comin'.

Thanks Carla I'll try and write it all down.

I went to Target again, but this time with my husband and I got some deals!!!! I got 4 bras for less than $16, 4 tank tops that were only $1.50 each, 2 pairs of cute PJ bottoms only $2.50 each, and my favorite find was a pair of black maternity slacks...yes you read right, maternity....for only $6. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. They are super cute slacks for work and they fit well. I could wear them and you wouldn't know they were for PG women. Of course Scott was like why are you getting those...I just gave him a look and he shut-up.

Stef!! You are so funny!! Great shopping...i freaking love the idea of maternity pants. I have a pair of pants from old navy that i call my pseudo maternity pants b/c they are khaki cargo pants but they have an elastic waist band...they rock!

Glad you had a great shopping trip. Marci got pg on her first month of metformin, she was waiting to start a new cycle and try femara but got her BFP instead. I got pg on my 3rd round of clomid if that helps any. On my 3rd round I was on metformin as well for PCOS. I hope that helps. Jackie was right about the temps. Mine were higher pre O and post O than usual. I did not get much bloat, I got lucky there, but I know a lot of women (Tonya was one of them) who do get a lot of bloat. My only real side effect was irritability. I hope that helps and that you get your BFP on the first shot. Oh, on my first cycle of it I O'ed on exactly day 14 so it definately moved up my O time. By the third cycle I O'ed on day 22 though. I think on the ttc with MA or the PCOS board they actually have a clomid sticky where a lot of girls have posted their experiences. Can't wait to see how you do on it! Best of luck! PM me with any questions you have about it.

I love bargain shopping! I seem to get more compliments on my cheaper clothes than anything I spend good money on, so hey, 5 cheap items instead of 1 expensive item it is!!! lol

Hey Stef - Just wanted to say, congrats on the Clomid! I didn't even know you were doing Clomid this cycle, and I still have a feeling about a BFP for you soon... Who knows, it might come true!

Fingers crossed.

Nice shopping trip!! Love hearing about other people's steals, almost as good as finsing them myself! Glad to hear the Clomid isn't putting you through the wringer too bad!! Hope it stays that way, and WORKS fast!!! Come on ovaries, shift into gear!!! I have heard LOTS of BFP the frist round stories, and SO many within the first three cycles! I would put money on us seeing a BFP from you in the next couple months- but I hope it's more like the next couple weeks!! Either way- exciting!!!
