One thing about the thyroid.. Even if T3 and not T4 are normal, if your TSH is off it can cause problems TTC. My RE is treating me even though my T3 and T4 are normal. So your obgyn is not necessarily overreacting.
Enjoy your trip!
Hey Judy!!! My TSH was fine...my RE even called and confirmed what my GP said ....I think my OB was a little worried. My GP did order a re-test and ultra sound to be on the safe side.

Hey Danee!!! Thanks...I'm so ready to get the show on the road. Unlike a c-section that has one incision...I will have multiply incisions on my uterus which will make a VBAC dangerous.

Hey Chrissy!!!! Thanks...for the first time in a long time I actually feel that we will be preggo before 2013...which will make having surgery so much easier to bare.

Vegas was cool...I probably wont ever go again if I have to pay...didn't have that much fun. But since the school paid for the hotel, flight, and food it was fun to see.

I played the slots and lost...

We did a lot of free stuff:
Bellagio fountains
Fremont Street
Volcano at the Mirage
fountain show at Caesar's Palace
clown show
the pirate show at Treasure Island

We went and saw the Cirque du Soleil show called Love. It had some popular songs from the Beatles....One of the best shows Ive ever seen.

We also went to see the tigers and dolphins...which was sad to see the animals living in such small spaces...for some reason I thought it would be bigger.

I need to call my RE tomorrow and find out what my next step is...if my hysteroscopy is going to be this week or next.

Well that's about it....I'm still kinda tired from the trip...I hate sleeping in hotels...especially when the room I stayed in was a smoking room....i had a headache every time I woke up. My plane didn't get in until 3 am yesterday and i slept most of the day once I got home.

Well I'm off to the grocery store!! Happy Sunday!!

Glad you're back home safe and sound!

I agree... there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed. I don't blame you for sleeping the day away, especially after waking up with headaches all the time.

That's sad about the tigers and dolphins. It sucks that they'll spend so much money on casinos and bullcrap like that, but they won't spend the money to give these beautiful animals a proper environment to live in...? I hate that crap.

Hope you're able to get word from your RE to let you know what the plan is and that you get some yummy stuff from the grocery store!

Jenny...Love was amazing!!! I could totally see it a dozen times and notice something different every time.

Well this past week was LONG....I had the first week of summer school and it was crazy!!! I'm not looking forward to next week...I don't know if I'm just getting old or if the kids coming up are...how do I say this nicely....less evolved????? They are totally clueless on manners and social protocol...they are so used to communicating with technology that they stare at you like you're an alien when you ask them to work together on a project.

No word from my doctor on the next step...I called 3 times and got the same answer...."we are working on it" If they don't let me know something ASAP...I will have to put surgery off until November....I wont miss the first few weeks of school.

On a good note....Scott has an interview on Monday. The job is 8 minutes with traffic from our house. I want him home so bad...so if y'all could spare a few good thoughts and prayers our way

Happy Saturday!!!

I'm going to Vegas in 2 weeks! I'm glad you had a good time. We are looking into going to a show, not sure which one yet. I may have to put Love on the list, if it was that good.

I will keep everything crossed for Scott! Working 8 minutes from home would be nice! KUP on Scott and the the RE!

Thanks for all the thoughts ladies!!!! I will have to keep this short b/c we are heading out the door soon. Well it has been a crazy week.
The kids at work are drove me crazy.
We got a new principal that I'm super excited about!!!
I got accepted into a graduate program with a nice grant to pay for half the tuition
Scott hasn't heard anything about the job yet...hopefully soon
And I got a call on Wednesday telling me I will have surgery today at 2

The RE's office and my OBGyN finally got their schedules to mesh and they were both free Friday at 2. I will have two procedures done....hysteroscopy and myomectomy. I will probably be in the hospital for a few days...of course it could change depending on how it goes.

Ive been so busy cleaning the house, paying bills, getting pre opt lab work done, getting a sub for my summer school class, getting the animals situated, mowed the lawn...and many other fun things that I wont be able to do for 4-6 weeks.

I still have a lot to do before we leave...I have to check in at 12...please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I will try and update everyone when I can.

XOXO Thanks Ladies!!!!!!!

Hey ladies! Well the fibroids are gone. I went into the operating room at 2:15 and didn't get out until 8:30.... It was a very long surgery. They were able to get everything out without any problems....the big fibroids took a little longer for them to get out.

I had 8 fibroids... Two were the size of a baseball...4 were the size of golf balls....and 2 were the size of quarters. Since it was so late getting out I didn't get to see my doctors until Saturday. I'm still in the hospital....they said I should be going home tomorrow. They had to do a vertical incision. So I will have to wear a one piece bathing suit from now on.

I'm being held in the maternity ward....so I can hear all the new babies....I cannot wait until I'm here holding my little one.

Doctors said my uterus, tubes, and overies looked fabulous....no endo or scaring. They said 2-3 months of taking it easy then I need to get preggo...

Today I finally took a shower....and they took my IV out....I've been walking the halls since Saturday morning....it has been getting easier. All of my nurses have been great...the best part is that they have all had a csection so they understand my pain.

Okay...I'm getting tired...I will try and update more tomorrow...

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Hey Stef!! Soooo glad that your surgery is done and was a success!! Wow that is a lot of fibroids!! I think it is perfectly reasonable to believe that they are the reason it has taken so long and now that they are gone.... you will be holding your baby soon!!! Lots of for a quick recovery!!

so glad to hear that you were able to get the surgery done, and so excited for you from here...

The surgery sounds painful, I know the pain a bit from the c I had, and my only advice is take the pain meds when you need them and dont try to be too brave...I was finally ok 4 weeks out, but the recovery was a bit harder than I thought...
