Hi ladies! Thought I would join you all and start a ttc journal of my own.

To start off with here is a little information about me:
I'm Kat (21) DH is H (24), from Louisiana. We've been married for coming up on two years. We are both still in school (me for English education, him for PhD in nano-systems engineering). He graduates in May and I've still got two years left :/

We are on month 1/cycle 1 of officially trying to conceive our first and so excited! I just recently started OPKs and am confused as heck as of right now! I don't temp or anything (yet...) just trying to figure out my body right now. I do monitor my CP daily and I'm sure that will help in the TTC process!!

I will try to update this often, but no promises. I like to spend my time reading everyone else's journals! I am so look forward to getting to know you ladies and joining DDCs with some of you

CD 10- Positive opk (huh?)
CD 11- Lighter lines
CD 12-14
CD 15-Getting darker
CD 16-Light lines today
CD 17-Positive OPK!

Ok I'm going to start tracking my IPS but, because of the confusion of when I O'ed (CD10 and CD17) the first dpo will be counting from the CD10 and the second from CD17.

10DPO/3DPO- Light bleeding gums when brushing teeth
11DPO/4DPO- Pains in left breast. Very tender bbs.
Lots of bleeding in gums when brushing teeth/flossing
12DPO/5DPO -Pains in right breast. No bleeding when I brushed my teeth earlier.
Had 6 BMs in the last 3 days (very unusual for me)
Aching pain in right hip.
13DPO/6DPO- Tummy aches today. Feels like AF but too early.
Another BM today. That makes 7 in 4 days.
14DPO/7DPO- Two more BMs today. 9 TIMES IN 5 DAYS. I haven't been eating much fiber either
I wonder what the deal is?
Bleeding gums.
8DPO- No symptoms
9DPO- pain in lower right abdomen (pretty sure it's af pains)

Yay a new journal !! We've also been married nearly 2 years while we were still students also (although I've since graduated but he's working on his PhD).

I'm 22 so we're actually pretty similar! Hope you get a bfp soon !

Thanks Lex! I so hope we all get our BFPs soon.

Since we've been married we've been using the "pull out" method and while it's been tried and true for us, we always knew there was a chance. I've really been quite lackadaisical about ttc up until this point. My best friend just recently had a baby and it seems like everyone I know is getting pregnant. I have 8 "friends" giving birth JUST THIS MONTH!! So I think it's safe to say I've been bitten by the pregnancy bug I know it's still really early in my ttc journey, but we would be absolutely enthralled if I were to end up pg. I don't think it had really hit me until tonight. Me, DH, my bro, and father all went to have some fun tonight and decided to play laser tag. I had to fill out a form and one of the questions said "Are you pregnant?" and I sadly checked the "no" box I would have gladly sat out a game if I knew I had a little bean growing inside of me!! but, like I said it's early and I'm sure it will take me several months to 'not be able to play laser tag' lol!!

It's funny to think of all the fun things you'd gladly give up in exchange for morning sickness, weight gain and unbearable pain, lol. I did the same thing at the doctor last week when the nurse said "could you be pragnant?" It was the first time that I didn't just say "no" and move on. I was sad to say no! I'm really hoping for a whole storm of us to get New Year BFPs!!!!

I know - you know it's bad when you wish you couldn't do fun stuff because you're pregnant

I actually was *jealous* of the parents with the crying baby on the train yesterday. That's kinda bad, isn't it?

It is always hardest when all your friends are starting their families and you feel left behind. I hope you get to join them soon

OPK lines are getting darker ladies!! 'O' is coming and I'm so excited!!

Maybe because of my poas addiction or something else entirely different, it's so satisfying to see two pink lines on an opk stick. Seeing BFNs really takes it out of me so I'm glad I can at least see pink on something

They are fun. Though mine are still light, they're definitely visible and I always get a little over excited. Good luck catching your surge, I hope it's soon!!!!

Gotta love Opks!! I really need to cut back on them though I started testing way too early. I'm a total POAS addict! Hope you get a blazing + soon!

Line was virtually non-existent tonight, but I did drink two glasses of water at dinner so maybe that has something to do with it. I'll BD tonight just to be safe and test again mid morning to see if my line is still there.

Hey Kat.. glad you started a journal and good luck!
OPKs are fun, it's nice to see two lines on SOMETHING! Mine are pretty light right now but hopefully in a few days they'll get lighter. I hope yours do too!

Just had to say I absolutely love your siggy. You two are beautiful, you're going to have adorable kids! I got a lighter line too this morning, kind of a bummer. Just BD like crazy, that's my motto for the next week!

Thanks Stef and Jess! I like it as well.

and oh my god, I just had to tell you what happened this morning. DH and I BDed last night and this morning we woke up and he wanted to do it again but, I told him I 'had to go pee first' and I did..... on a stick. and my lines were so light I told him I was too hungry to BD and we would do it later.

That was like 2 hours ago and I have yet to eat... I feel so bad for not DTD just because my opk lines weren't dark!!
