I have my 7DPO blood draw tomorrow to check progesterone as usual. As far as a beta test, they just told me to call if I am late and then they would do the blood test. That's fine with me because I really dont have time to go for another blood draw if it isn't necessary. I tested again this afternoon since that is when I tested yesterday and it was much lighter. Another sort of symptom is that I have been very tired the last 2 nights. I went to bed 2 hours earlier than normal last night and slept for almost 10 hours! Now it is not even 7:30 and I feel like I could go to sleep. It is waaaay too early to have symptoms though so I am chalking this all up to my progesterone being high.

I just want to say that I love my chart this month. I hope this is my BFP chart because it is really pretty! lol Honestly I dont care, I just want that BFP!

I tested again this morning using $ tests and it was a faint line. I am thinking tomorrow it should be gone. I also want to add that I hate the 2WW. Bet you have never heard that one before! I just cant stop thinking about what could be and I know that is bad. I need to focus on something else. I need it to be busy at work!!

I found my triggers were gone by 7dpo but was still a very faint line at 6dpo, so hopefully the next line you see is THE line!!!

just got my P4 results back and they sucked. 13.5. I dont understand why even though I am on femara I will have a random month of low progesterone. I mean the last 2 I was at 30 and 40 on the same dosage of femara. My nurse said we know that I ovulated it just may not of been a good quality egg and that it doesn't mean that I'm not pregnant so I guess there is still a chance but I just "feel" like I'm out. The disappointments are just getting harder.

Next month we are taking a break since I will be out of town during my fertile window. That is actually a good idea because I think my body needs a break from the meds.

Just stopping in for an update. Last months IUI failed. We have moved on to an RE and I think I really like him. Had my AMH levels tested and they came back at 1.4 and he said that was good, I have plenty of reserve. Also had the hysterosonogram yesterday, which hurt worse than the HSG for me, and all looked good. The fibroid isnt causign any problems for my uterus so he thinks we should just leave it. He said he really doesnt see any reason why we are not getting pregnant naturally but due to my age and the fact that we arent preganant after 15 months, he thinks we should move on to IUI + injects. He also told me that they trigger at 21 -22 mm which tells me that my last two cycles were wasted because we triggered when my eggs were 26 - 29, which he basically said they were too big.

So with all that being said, we are taking this month off. Once I get back on a normal cycle then it looks like we are on to IUI + injects using either Bravelle or Menopur. He doesnt think we even need to consider IVF at this point which made me feel really good about him. He just doesnt think we will need it. Hopefully we wont!

Quick update. Today is CD1 so it looks like we are starting Follistim tomorrow for an IUI + Injects cycle this month. I think we are doing 50 units starting on day 2. I go in for my baseline sonogram tomorrow and then should be starting my injects. I got my meds last Friday so we should be all set to go! I am hopeful this time since we are using an RE vs my OBGYN. I guess we will see! Hope everyone is doing well. I lurk but just dont post much. There seem to be so many new faces!

Elle I'm sorry the IUI didn't work (referring to an earlier post of yours)!! Just curious though - you said it didn't work and you've moved on to an RE.. so who did your first IUI? I hope it was an RE!

I havent updated in forever!

Judy, my OBGYN is a fertility specialist, not an RE so he did the first one along with some of my monitoring while I was on Femara. That is as far as he goes though. He does not do injections, just Femara/Clomid + IUI cycles. We are totally OOP and my OBGYN is about $1000 cheaper for IUI than my RE so we wanted to try a round with him before we really stepped it up.

Update. CD 12 of cycle 16. 2nd IUI, 1st with Injects = BFN. I go in for my Beta tomorrow to be sure but I am almost positive at this point. We will do another IUI + follistim cycle this round and hopefully he will increase my dose because I only ended up with 2 follies this round, which is fine but I would like maybe 1 or 2 more. We are thinking if this round fails we will move on to IVF for numerous reasons. We really want to have 2 children and I am 6 months away from my 37th birthday so it is going to be tough to try and have 2 at this point. Also, after running the numbers financially IVF makes sense. So yes, we are getting aggressive.

On Wed I am starting accupuncture to see if that helps and hopefully they can give me some guidance on anything else I need to cut out of my diet. I am very excited about this because I love accu!! So relaxing. Thats it for now. Hope everyone else is loving this great Fall weather!

Popping in for an update. So last cycle = BFN. I switched to a new RE because I found out my last one was double billing me and charging way too much on top of it. I love my new RE!! He is great! We met with him for an hour and half at our first appt. We decided to do another IUI = Injects round but a higher dose. Well at my baseline scan they found 3 more fibroids and 2 cysts. Did a blood draw to check my e2 levels and they were 78. They want them under 50 so they cancelled this cycle due to the 2 cysts that are producing estrogen and put me on BCP. Totally Sucks! We have a follow up appt with him tomorrow to discuss what is going on with the multiple fibroids and now these 2 cysts. I have also been doing the accupuncture and so far so good!
