CD24 / ??DPO - NTNP Cycle #3

So i'm back, feel like i've been away from the board for a fair while - even though its more like just a week. I really needed it though, its been manic at work and I had a blip with this whole NTNP malarcy whilst trying to be a supportive host here . I've taken a few days away though, had a talk to myself and with DF and i'm feeling better. Not 100% but better. I just keep reminding myself that as of next week its April, then the month after that we can start TTC again. The month after that we'll hopefully be back to TTCMA. (still sounds like ages away )

Anyway...I'm back and looking forward to seeing lots of BFP's this next cycle!!

Wedding wise -
I did have an appointment to meet with the decorating people and a florist this past weekend but they both ended up cancelling because of the **** snow So we have to re-arrange, we still havent pencilled in another date but its likely to be a couple of weeks away!

Instead of doing that on saturday we called and made an appointment at a cake shop instead and we have booked them for the wedding. Our exact design is yet to be decided but they will be doing our cake. They are, by profession, more a chocolatier rather than tradional bakery but their wedding cakes were amazing - and no icing in sight This is the shops website: http://chocolate-by-design.co.uk/

At the moment, we are umming and ahhing about the cake design but we'll probably go for something fairly simple with a red element and it'll have 3 tiers. Our fave designs at the moment are these:

http://pinterest.com/pin/141722719496279819/

No other wedding updates for now but lots ongoing, I'm in the process of discussing designs with the invite person so will hopefully have a sample of our invite in the next few weeks - which I will of course share a photo of!

Oh I forgot to mention before, I'm finally going to visit my friend M who had her baby at the beginning of the month this friday (good friday so bank holiday = day off work). I have the finished blanket I made for baby to take as a gift and I decided I wanted to sew something for her DD1 to take too so I'm sewing a bunny. Will post pics of both once complete! I cant wait to see them and for teeny baby snuggles!

CD1 NTNP cycle #4

Af showed her ugly face today and took me by surprise. The witch! So im currently battling stomach cramps

In wedding news, we picked our rings today from the jewellers and they fit perfectly! Ill post a photo asap. We also looked at suits for DF and the groomsmen. We're thinking charcoal grey witb a dark red/ burgundy patterned waistcoat and same colour ruche (fancy tie). Its so exciting!

Jen, I can't believe that you all are getting to have such fun doing all your wedding planning. I was an antibride and was happy to have anyone else make the decisions for me.

Hopefully the cramps subside shortly.

Thanks - I love sharing all the details. I like the idea that I'll be able to come back and read all about in the future! I have loads of diaries I kept when I was a teeenager and they're always a good read. i'm hoping this is similar

CD3, NTNP Cycle #4

Nothing much to update, the cramps have eased of thankfully. Me and DF went out for dinner tonight and had a talk about getting back to TTC. we're both pretty impatient at this point and have agreed to start for definately next cycle. We had originally planned to go back to the hospital for an appt in June with a view to starting our first IUI in July however as we're both so impatient we've decided I'm going to call the clinic next week to try and book an appointment for early/mid May so we can hopefully start our first IUI in June. We know that ther will be tests they need to run before we can do the first IUI (blood work mostly, including tests for HIV etc etc - standard for having fertility treatment on the NHS). But then we'll get the ball rolling and hopefully have plenty of time to get me good and knocked up before the wedding!
