Thanks ladies. The thoughts are much appreciated!

CD7, IUI Cycle #1

Urgh I'm feeling rough today. I had a terrible nights sleep, which I think may be partly due to the sunburn plus the Clomid. I vaguely remember last time it affected my sleep. Today i'm feeling nauseous, really lucky. I just walked up into town and had to come back sooner than planned as I was worried I might be sick. Urgh, I hope i'm just over tired. Serves me right for hoping for more s/e

CD10, IUI Cycle #1

I'm back from the scan, it was actually a really quick visit to the hospital considering we were seen in two different departments! I had trans-vaginal u/s - it showed i had one 10mm follie on the right and one 13mm follie on the left, my lining was 5mm. I dont know about any smaller ones as that was all which was written on the paper. Plan is for me to go for another scan on saturday at 10.15am with a tentative plan to trigger on sunday and do IUI on monday. They said that follie's usually grow 1-2mm per day so that would fit with me usually Oing around CD13/14. They're looking for at least one follie of 17mm and my lining to be 7mm.

I'm pleased but still anxious, I guess I just hope it all works out. Its good that my second scan is on saturday as it means less time off work. I'm pleased that both mine and DFs work are being so supportive about us having the time off.

I'm sure it will work out! The clomid keeps them growing. I think my largest was 18mm on cd 12 and I gave myself the hcg shot on Sunday with IUI on Tuesday morning (I think, it has been over 6 months). I'm sure everything will work well. Now we just need egg and sperm to meet, form a beautiful embryo, and then stick nice and tightly to you uterus!

CD11, IUI Cycle #1

So my week away from TTC (kind of) seems to be going from bad to worse emotionally speaking. We went to our friends house for dinner last night, these are the friends who got married last June and who got pg earlier this year but had a m/c. Well within about half an hour of being there me and DF had both picked up on the fact she was pg again. We ended up chatting about it and she's 6wk and a few days. Dont get me wrong, I am so happy for the both of them, they will make great parents. But I was in bits, as soon as we left I couldnt keep the tears away. We had already been ttc for a whole year before they started ttc and since then they've been able to get pg twice. (for anyone that has had a loss, I dont mean to sound disrespectful or anything negative, havent not had a bfp I cant possibily understand and dont try to). In two years we've had failed cycle after failed cycle. They pretty much get pg straight away after they started tracking her cycle - which makes me think they were missing O for the first 6 months - and then the first cycle after the m/c they get pg again. Its just not fair.

Its safe to say I was in no mood to BD last night so DF just held me whilst I pretty much cried myself to sleep.

This morning I'm feeling slightly better, but still sad. We did get some BDing in before DF left for work which helped! I keep thinking I just need to put my big girl pants on and cheer up, the other part of me thinks - no! why should I! almost two years in, i'm allowed to feel sad and discouraged.

Away from ttc, I have had an email this morning from parcelforce to say that my invitations are currently with customs and will be there until they're done with them - piece of string comes to ming but at least I know where they are and who will have them once theyre released. Finally, we might actually get them!

I hope with everything I have that this is your cycle! Still keeping everything crossed for you and sending dust your way.
