I had that this cycle.

I ate baby carrots to help with CM. I didn't get a whole lot of CM, but that isn't much of a problem for me, so I'd try not to worry about it, especially if your doctor isn't concerned.

Oh...I know what you mean The bleeding has stopped by my second trip to the bathroom so I'm thinking it may just be a combination of deepness and Oing.

I'm kind of excited right now.... My friend just gave me a number to a lady how is a natural fertility specialist. She apparently has a 86% success rate and has helped many couples who went to her after there fertility treatments with there doctors fail. I really don't know any more than that but will be calling after work which is in about a half hour. I am just curious what she does or what makes her successful. I figure it doesn't hurt to call!

So I call this lady who says she's a Natural Family Planning Consultant and what she does is teach classes. It costs $65; you go to an introductory class, then 3 follow-up classes. She teaches you about everything FF teaches you... charting and other fertitle signs and nutrition. Her biggest thing she teaches is finding your cervical mucus and going off of that to get pregnant. I mentioned to her that I always try to check for CM but hardly ever find it. Then she went on about how important it which of course I know. She did say she would teach ways to increase CM. I know I have learned so much from JM and from Google LOL so I wonder if this is something that would end up being a waste of money. She claims she has an 86% success rate of getting her client pregnant within 3 months; 10% within a year.

$65 is a small price to pay but am I going to be taught everything I already know????

What are your thoughts?

I think it's worth a shot. Even if you only learn one new thing or it's a good refresher at least you'll know and won't have to question it.

You never know... $65 seems like a small price if she can help you conceive. Maybe you will learn some tips from her that you haven't heard here or on the Web.

I was just talking to my friend about it and told her I feel like I would be learning everything I know....
She said she thought the same thing at first but then she shared a couple tricks with her that she said she never knew. My friend said this lady is very knowledgeable and has truly helped so many people.

This is my thought.... we are kind of in limbo; have no idea the reason we are not getting pregnant. We don't know if it's DH or if it's me. It looks like if I O today I will have another nice LP which is a good sign but I do lack in CM which is one of the big things she focuses on. If it is DH, will she really be able to help us? I decided tomorrow morning I'm going to call the doctor and get costs and more information on the SA so I can get DH in.

I kind of wish she had testimonials but then again, you can't alway believe those. She is a girl in the area that holds these classes, not some corporation either which I do like.

I agree $65 is a small price if it helps us conceive but I have so many doubts and I think because I have so many unknown factors as to why is it not happening.

All of your thoughts make sense...

$65 bucks may not seem like a lot, but if it's spent on knowledge you already have... then you've spent $65 too much, ya know? So I get where you're coming from there.

I definitely think the SA is a great place to start. You could always make another phone call to the lady and ask her if there is anything within the scope of her class that addresses the male or if it's focused solely on the female. Like you said... a call can't hurt.

Thanks for all your insite! I forgot to mention that I get a book which is included in the $65 fee so I would get a book out of the deal if anything. We have made a decision yet but I'm working on getting DH to agree to getting an SA.

CD 17 2DPO

I ended not Oing as early has I hoped but it is 2 days earlier than normal so I'm really happy about that.

On Friday I finally made a phone call to our fertility clinic to get more info about an SA. It would costs us $209 and to me that a small price to pay for peace of mind if it were to come back good. I also found out that any fertility testing we do will go towards our deductible, after our deductible is met our insurance will cover 50% of the costs, and we have a max out of pocket of $5000 per person. Our deductiable is $2300 so if I ended up having to go in for any testing on myself it will still cost a lot depending on how much testing is required but at least it's something if we go down that route. They did recommend me going to my Obgyn for the simple tests such as hormone testing so I think I will start with that. I asked if they did free consultation appointments but they don't...it would cost $439 and it's an hour long..

So the next step is to call my doctor and have her put in order in to get DH tested. Of course DH is just not on board He said to me Friday that it will happen when it's meant to be. He also said that I should forget charting and opks and just go with it because then it will happen. I wish I could be as relaxed about it as he can and so sure it's going to happen naturally. He just doesn't get it.

The weather was so nice this weekend. Saturday DH and I went out to dinner with my family for my brother's birthday and afterwards we went to a friend's for our first campfire for the season. It is pretty crazy to be having campfires in March but I love it!!!! Today it was almost 60 and by the end of the week it's supposed to get to almost 70!!!! That is insane. We usually don't see 70's until April and usually it's only for a short time.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Back to work tomorrow.

I don't really have much to report today. I started feeling a crampy pain around my right Ovary on Saturday and really hasn't stopped hurting so I'm not sure what is going on. I also felt a couple twinges on my left side. I really wonder what causes those twinges and why it happens. It is to early to be feeling anything. I got my CH's today confirming O. So now we wait.

Nothing exciting going on tonight or happened today.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Last night I had such a vivid dream it felt so real. I also did not want to wake up from it either.

In my dream I was 4 DPO (which is where I am today). I went to the doctor, they did n ultra sound to see if I was pregnant. I was so afraid to look but there was a little bean growing. It was a little white speck because it was so early. I was still in shock and could believe it. When ingot home I decided to take a test but I remember saying that it's to early and that it would not be able to pick up my pregnancy yet but I tested anyways. I used my cheap wondfo ones and got a BFP and then I kept opening more and testing and just couldn't BELIVE my eyes. Then I told DH we need to go buy the FRER and digis because I didn't have any. This is so weird bec all I have are cheapos and do not have any other brand and will not buy those until I'm late. The only reason I have the Wondfo is because they come with my OPKs. Anyways, after I tested I scheduled an appointment for blood work and the. I woke up!

It just felt so crazy real and was so sad when I woke up. That would be so nice if we could find out at 4DPO.

Other than my crazy dream not much to report. My bbs are beginning to feel sore but that is normal. I can't wait to be done with work, 2 more hours. Work is slow for me right now, which makes the afternoon drag on.

Happy Tuesday!

I just wanted to check in for the day. Nothing much going on. It did hit 74 today!!! This is a record high temp for us in March! Got outside on lunch and took a nice walk. Otherwise I woked all day; made nachos for dinner and not hanging out with DH and the cats.

Cyclewise, I have nothing. My bbs are sore that's about it! To be honest I feel like I'm out already.... just not feeling it. It is only 5DPO and this cycle hasn't thrown me for any crazy loops (knock on wood) yet so maybe that's why. Oh well I guess I wil have to continue to wait and see.

My only 'symptom' before I got my bfp was that I didn't have any symptoms - the sore boobs and twinges that I usually have pre-AF were absent. Of course, that pregnancy didn't make it very far, so maybe that's why I didn't have symptoms. Anyway, just wanted to demonstrate that no symptoms doesn't always mean no bfp!

I'd actually started a thread in TTCAL about how I felt so out and was only 7DPO and got my BFP 3 days later!! Maybe feeling out is a good thing!!

Jenny - when I got pregnant I had tons of symptoms; extremely sore and heavy bbs, everything tasted beyond amazing, I had the heightened smells, constantly hungry, heart burn and that ended in miscarriage so I guess it can happen both ways.

Thanks Robyn and Jenny for the reassurance. I guess we will have to wait and see. The only symptom is still sore bbs and nips.

Yesterday I got my fish oil in the mail. I decided to try the actual oil vs the pill it was gross lol. I do not eat any type of fish so that thought of putting fish oil directly in my mouth is the most disgusting thing to me. I did mix it with juice hoping it wouldn't be so bad but when I poured it in there I could still see the oil...ick! I mixed it drank it and chased it was another drink. It wasn't to bad with the juice by it wasn't pleasent either. I really hope I will be able to get used to taking the actual oil.

Cycle wise... Nothing new; sore bbs and nips that's about it. This morning I woke up a half hour early so I temped just in case and I got 97.45; then I got up to use the bathroom, fell back to sleep and woke up at 5:30; a half later (my normal time) and my temp dropped to 97.05..wth??? Shouldn't my temp go up if anything? I'm not sure which temp I really should be using but it seems like the first one to me.

Have a great weekend ladies!!
