Glad you had a great vacation! I have seen Oklahoma Joe's on DDD - I am obsessed with that show. I once saw a couple on there that basically takes their huge RV around the country and visits all the DDD places! What a fun way to spend early retirement!

I agree, baseball in a box is super fun. I miss baseball games, we haven't been to any this year. We like to go to Padres games once in a while...we just get the cheapie seats, whatever is left when we get there. Have some beers, nasty ball park food, and watch the game in the sun. Padres typically stink, and neither of us are really Pads fans, but whatever. DH's cousin is a lefty reliever for the SF Giants, so we always go to the games when they are in town, and sometimes drive to LA for the Dodger/Giants games.

Washers!! Ahhh, I love my fellow midwesterners! One of DH's friends made home made washer toss, and used to bring it to parties at our BFFs house. Love the washer toss! And bags...

My dogs are always exhausted when they come home from camp too. Give him some extra lovies this week

Sorry about the dumb BFNs. Phhhhht. x

I give up. I don't when, or even if, I guess, I ovulated. I don't know when AF is due.

What I do know:

I had + opks on CDs 13, 14, 21 and 22.
I had EWCM on CDs 12, 13, 21 and 30.
The only spotting/bleeding I've seen was after sex on CD 28.
My progesterone was 14.5 on CD 23.
I've had lots of cramps/twinges/pinches for days, especially today. They don't feel AF like at all.
No sore boobs.
My latest O ever was CD 21, and I've never had an LP longer than 14 days.
BFNs!!!

What does it all MEAN????

Yikes, that's definitely my fear with taking a cycle off temping.. I was pondering doing that with the clomid cycles and just let the RE do his job... and I think I probably should have, but I would be exactly the same.. I've turned a bit OCD with all the TTC stuff over the last year....

We are moving forward! I had an appt with my PA today, and we made plans for the next couple cycles. DH is doing another SA, just to verify things before we move on, and I am having an HSG AF should arrive tomorrow, and the HSG will be CD 7-10. We're to give it a good try with the BDing that cycle, as she says your chances of conceiving are 7% higher right after the HSG. Assuming my tubes are open, and we are unsuccessful next cycle, we will move on to IUI with Femara. She prefers Femara over Clomid, because Femara is supposed to help the uterine lining as well as induce ovulation.

So, I am to call when AF arrives (probably tomorrow), and they will schedule the HSG. They are also checking my insurance coverage for IUI. HSG will be next week, and then we will give it our all to conceive the traditional way before going to IUI. Scott and I have talked recently, and while we would much prefer getting pregnant naturally, we really don't want to mess around anymore. He turned 36 last week, and is worried about being too old to enjoy his kid(s). Clearly, what we're doing isn't working, so why keep doing the same thing?

Friggin awesome! First, the HSG will be fine. Second, that is so great that you are taking the next step. We tried for so long, and we kept him-hawing around MA, and we always wavered, never feeling it was time. But then we got to a point where it was time and we knew it then. Sounds like you knew your time was now.

So awesome! x

I know I said this yesterday, but I think AF will finally arrive tomorrow. Spotting has picked up, and there's some red rather than just brown. I still don't know what the hell was up with this cycle. It's hard to believe I had an 18 day LP when I've never been more than 14, and LP is supposed to stay pretty consistent. But the progesterone of 14.5 on CD 23 indicates O about a week prior. I dislike not being sure of my O date, just for tracking purposes. I would say I maybe had a chemical, but I've taken a lot of tests, with no sign of a line. Is it possible to have a chemical but never see the positive? I know it doesn't really matter, but I just hate not knowing what's going on!

Sorry about the impending (or already) arrival of Boo, lame-dumb cycle.

Did you get my note on FB about the bunnies? Call your local wildlife rescue (just google "wildlife rescue") or the Department of Fish and Wildlife (sometimes called Fish and Game), and they can have someone come and rescue the bunnies!

CD 1. I already knew this cycle was a bust, so I'm not too upset today. It also helps to know we have plans to move forward. My HSG is scheduled for the 30th (CD 11). Hopefully DH can go with me, it depends on what he has going on at work.

We spent allll weekend cleaning the house and yard. I don't think we've ever accomplished so much in a weekend! My aunt and uncle are staying with us this week for RAGBRAI, and it may be the only time they'll ever see our house (they live in Tucson), so we wanted it to look good. It was stuff that needed to be done anyway, we just needed a reason. We also managed to make it to the farmer's market on Saturday, as well as the specialty beverage store (my uncle likes fancy beers). It was not a relaxing or 'fun' weekend, but I'm happy with all we got done.

Tonight we have to have dinner at the in-laws. Family arrives Wednesday. I'm leaving work early on Thursday and taking Friday off. There's a Counting Crows concert downtown Thursday night - I'm pretty excited! It is crazy hot today and will be for the next 2 days as well. Luckily, it's supposed to cool off for Thursday, when the boys have to bike over 80 miles Last week, they were saying 99 on Thursday, and Scott was seriously considering backing out.

So, I'm obviously pretty busy this week, but I'll try to be on some. Have a good week, all!

RAGBRAI! Fun!

I love when people are coming to town that I want to "impress" (i.e. first time they've seen my house or something). It totally forces us into that uber-cleaning mode. It sucks doing it, but when it's all done, I feel SO good!

Hope the heat holds out a bit for the weekend ride. Blech! Counting Crows sounds like fun!

Oh! Any updates on the bunny friends?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the bunnies. We just kept the dog out of there for a couple days, and mama must have figured out that it was a bad place and moved them - they were gone Saturday morning. We haven't found the new nest, so hopefully she found a much better place. I still feel so bad about the one Max killed though

It's always a good feeling to get stuff done that is needed and has been out off.

Sounds like a fun and busy weekend ahead of you.

Yay for having a HSG scheduled! The 30th is not far away! Looks like we are cycle buddies this cycle .

Well, I had a super busy week! My aunt and uncle and sister, bil, and nephew arrived on Wednesday. We went out for pizza and brought my aunt and uncle back to our house. We got the guys' stuff all ready for their very early departure in the morning, hung out and had a few drinks. Got them off in the morning - my grandpa drove them to the starting town - and I had to go to work. Left work at noon, and my mom, aunt, sister, nephew and I went to the meet up town to experience the RAGBRAI reverly for a bit before we brought them home. Got ready and headed downtown to party. We had a great time! Friday was a bit shorter ride, so they slept in until 7 before heading to the next town. We met them there around 2 and hung out for a bit. Scott was pretty pumped after finishing 110 miles in 2 days! RAGBRAI is serious insanity, btw. Towns of a few hundred people hosting 20K+ riders. Some pretty interesting characters around - It gets pretty crazy!

We were exhausted Friday night and passed out by 9. Spent Saturday watching the Olympics and smoking a brisket, sweet corn, stuffed peppers (the first from the garden), and onions. Everything turned out pretty fantastic!

Today, did a few things around the house, made no-bake cookies, harvested a bunch of herbs to freeze, and made brisket sandwiches for dinner. Oh, and watched the Olympics all freakin day. Never knew water polo or table tennis could be so exciting!

Tomorrow is my HSG and I am nervous. I have managed to make myself stop googling it (what good can come from reading more horror stories?). I'm telling myself that even the painful ones I've read about weren't painful for long. I can stand excruciating pain for a minute or so, right?? I also found DH's Vicodin from his knee surgery, and I think I'll take one of those beforehand. I'm glad I don't have to go back to work afterwards, just in case.

Well, more Olympics for me until bed time. I'll take any good thoughts anyone wants to send for tomorrow!

So jealous you get to experience RAGBRAI - even as a spectator! Sounds like SO much fun! Your brisket dinner sounds fab. We have been eating peppers from our garden lately, too, and they are so yummy! When we get back from our trip, we should have a bunch more ready, so stuffed peppers is DEF on the menu!

Good luck today! You will be just fine! x

Too dang busy! I never even put my HSG results in my journal, so I'm just going to paste my main board post about it here, just so I have it.

Well, I got myself all worked up over nothing! I was obviously nervous - the nurse kept asking if I was okay. The speculum was the worst part, probably because the radiologist isn't really an expert at using them - he seemed pretty rough with it. It did come out while he was getting the catheter in, and there was a pinch that made me cringe a bit on the second try. No biggie. Then the dye went in, I cramped for like, 5 seconds, and it was over maybe 30 seconds later. Seriously, almost no pain! I have had no cramping afterwards, and very minimal spotting. If I wasn't 30 minutes away, and I hadn't taken a Vicodin, I would definitely go back to work.

Best of all, both tubes are completely clear and my uterus looks normal!

So, we are praying that this cycle works and we don't have to go to IUI. I did miss 2 critical temps over the weekend while we were camping, so FF won't give me CH's, but I'm calling it CD 16. It could have been 15 or 17, but we have good BDing in regardless, so I'm not going to stress about it.

Alright, I've gotta get back to the Olympics now
