Well, I expected easier periods after the surgery, and I definitely did bleed a lot less, but the cramps were the worst I've had for a long time. I really hope that is not my new norm!

I started the Femara (5 mg again) yesterday, and will take it through Sunday. Grow follies, grow! Oh, I do want to summarize the supplements I'm taking this cycle, just for my own record.

AM: 100 mg B6, 1 cap. Fertile CM, 1000 mg EPO

PM: Prenatal, 2 cap. Fertile CM, 500 mg EPO, 960 mg red raspberry leaf, 500 mg metformin

I stopped taking my metformin for while over surgery time, so I've started back at 500 mg, but will get up to 1000 soon. The EPO and RRL will stop after O. I wish I knew if any of this stuff was actually helping. Taking all these pills sucks.

Good luck! I hope that you don't find out if that is a new norm.

Good luck! Hopefully this will be the only cycle you have to take all of those meds!

I am definitely feeling my ovaries working! And no noticeable side effects I screwed up and forgot my Femara Friday night after we went out drinking I took it when I remembered in the morning and, based on how it works, I really think it's all good.

I thought AF had stopped on Thursday, but then cramps and light bleeding came back on Friday, and I'm still spotting. All the 'supplies' I ordered have arrived (opks, hpts, pre-seed, supplements), so I am ready to get this cycle going! I O'd on days 13 and 14 in my other Femara cycles, so I'd like to start BDing in the next couple days.

I made an early Sunday dinner - braised country-style pork ribs and mashed potatoes - and now we're just watching the playoffs. I wish Sunday relaxation could last forever...

I met with my doctor yesterday, and we have a plan for the next few months. She left it up to us how aggressive we want to be, and DH and I have agreed that we want to try at least a couple cycles on our own before going back to IUI. If the polyps were the problem, and they're gone now, we shouldn't need IUI, right? Also, my IUI was very painful, and I now know that it's because they weren't washing the sperm. She told me they are in the process of getting the equipment to do so, and that it should be ready in the next few months. I don't think I will do any more until they have that, as I really don't think using unwashed sperm is an acceptable way to do IUIs. If they aren't ready when I am, I will look into other facilities.

So, I did the Femara this cycle, and will be ovulating in the next couple days (+ opk today!). I am to do a 7 dpo progesterone test this cycle, and we will do a follicle study u/s next cycle. These are just to make sure the Femara is still working for me, and that there isn't any new weirdness going on in there after surgery. My next appointment is in 2 months, when we will decide how to progress. Hopefully none of that matters after I get my BFP in 2 weeks!

Woke up not feeling so hot. Scratchy throat, headache, etc. Not too terrible, so hopefully I'll just fight it off quick. That's probably why my temp is so high today. Did my progesterone blood draw yesterday, so I should get those results in a few days. My boobs have started hurting, which they usually do, but it is a day or two earlier than normal. I would like to wait until Friday to test, but we'll see. I often start at 10 DPO, which would be Tuesday, since that's when I got my first BFP. I am very (too) hopeful this cycle, so I don't know if I can handle the BFNs. We would be due within a few days of my due date with my loss, which would be nice. In fact, Super Bowl Sunday was when I got my BFP and told my family last year.

I'm hoping I start to feel better here after my tea, and just sitting upright so my sinuses can drain. I need to make a couple of apps (buffalo chicken dip) to take over to my mom's for the Super Bowl this afternoon. Not feeling too up to it right now
