Thanks Robyn, me too! Looks like I O'd on Saturday, and I'm pretty happy with our timing, so just keeping my fingers crossed
We had Easter dinner with my family on Saturday night. My sister was in town with my 4.5 month old nephew. I hadn't seen him since, oh wow, I just realized since the day I got my bfp, which was also his baptism and Super Bowl Sunday. Well that's a depressing realization to add to this already depressing day - I was supposed to be 12 weeks today and have my first appt with my OB. They kindly called to remind me of that appt last week. Sigh. When I called to cancel, I did get an appt scheduled with the PA I was seeing for fertility before I got my bfp, so at least it got me to finally do that.
Anyway, back to the weekend, Easter dinner was good - always great food with my family! We're getting together with DH's family this weekend, so we had nothing going on Sunday. We tried to assemble the shed in the backyard - EPIC fail. The wind kept picking up, and we got half of the walls up before we decided that we couldn't possibly get it done. I would have needed 4 more arms to hold everything up. So we had to disassemble everything, and lug it all back to the garage. What a waste of several hours - will not be attempting that again until there is no wind in the forecast!
Well, I am in for a crazy week at work, so we'll see how much I'm around. Have a great week ladies!

Not much going on with me. Didn't sleep well last night, so I'm tired today and my temp was worthless. Oh well, 4 DPO isn't a particularly important temp day.
I am making a deviled chicken thighs recipe tonight that I found on Pinterest. I've been wanting to try it for awhile, so I hope it doesn't disappoint. Gotta go get started - hope everyone is having a good week!

Seems like everyone I know had a crappy night sleep last night! Whats up with that? I'm going to look up your recipe...sounds yummy Let us know how it turns out!
This was delicious - Deviled Chicken Thighs. I doubled the cayenne and used spicy brown rather than dijon mustard, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The chicken was juicy and the breading was crispy and flavorful. Made with this - Parmesan Baked Potato Halves - so simple and tasty. DH is loving Pinterest

I agree Karin, everyone at school was totally dragging today! I'm hoping to get some good sleep tonight - and I don't have school tomorrow, so that helps.
That sounds like a great Pinterest recipe. We've found a couple of great ones - particularly good things to serve when we have people over for dinner and stuff like that.

Thanks Jaidynsmum for the siggy! My fertility blog: Only Infertile
NTNP since March 2012, TTC since August 2012, HSG = one blocked tube, SA = normal, RE referral at the end of April/beginning of May, but hoping for a BFP before then!
Yum! I am adding this to my list of things to try. DH loves that I found Pinterest. Until recently, I did not cook. At all. Maybe tuna casserole once in a while, but now, I'm finding all this stuff to make, and for the most part, it's yummy! Glad it turned out great!
I always substitute breast for thigh if the recipe calls for thigh. I don't like thighs, personally, and breasts always work fine...the only difference is that thighs are juicier
I find the dark meat juicier and more flavorful myself, but you could certainly use breasts. I like that thighs are harder to overcook
Work hasn't been as bad as expected. Our huge order came in late, so now next week will probably be bad while we try to make up time. Oh well, time goes fast when it's busy.
No interesting dinner tonight, just spaghetti. Nothing interesting cycle-wise either. Excited for Friday though!

Had a very nicely productive day today. I attempted biscuits and gravy for the first time this morning. It turned out okay, but not great. I think I need some fattier sausage, as what I used hardly rendered any fat. I will be trying to improve on it, for sure. After the morning's rain cleared out, we got our garden boxes filled with our compost/soil mix (that we had to haul out of the back of DH's truck), got the grid installed on top, and planted some of our carrots, lettuce, parsley, cilantro and onions. We still need to get the fence around it (for the rabbits), but DH had left the necessary tools at his shop. Then I went in to do laundry and make cookies (butterscotch potato chip), while DH brought the rest of the compost over to his friend/business partner's house for his garden. We watched the end of the Cards whooping up on the Cubs, and chilled for awhile. For dinner, I baked these stuffed chicken breasts we get from our favorite meat locker and made some twice baked potatoes. Now just finishing up laundry and catching up on JM!
In cycle news, I'm 8 DPO and feel nothing. No clue when I'm going to test, as I'd really rather not do it on a work day, and it was too soon this weekend. Maybe I'll just wait until next weekend, though I got my BFP at 10 DPO before...

I need to improve my B&G recipe too...the taste was great but the consistency off. A fattier sausage is for sure key for taste. Im on my phone or would write more, but I think I need that cookie recipe. No, I KNOW I need it! Pls share xx
Here's the cookie recipe - Butterscotch Potato Chip Cookies. The only problem I had was that mine came out kinda flat, but that's probably because I made them bigger than directed in order to use my cookie scoop. I wasn't sure about the potato chips, but they're good! I think there's a kind of toffee taste to them.

Tested today. Shouldn't have. I just can't stand the thought of going through an entire day not knowing I was if I could know I was. I need more willpower. Feeling more cramping today. Probably just the corpus luteum shriveling up and dying or something.
Waiting for DH to get home to grill burgers. I season them up so they have a smoky taste - yum!
