what Karin said, I didnt realise when i first started charting but FF takes three whole days before it will confirm O or not. It can feel like that three days takes forever but i recommend you keep BD;ing until it does

Just remember, FF typically won't confirm your O date until AFTER you've O'd, so be sure to get your BDing in!!

Having read TCOYF, I know that More that I meant my temperature hasn't gone up at all. Sunday was my "predicted" ovulation date by TCOYF...but given my CM, it'll be soon
Our plan is to BD every day until my temp goes up and then at least the day after, and maybe the one after that to be sure This is totally a record for how many days in a row for us - it's usually better for me if we wait a day in between, but for this? I'll do whatever

NTNP since March 2012, TTC since August 2012, HSG = one blocked tube, SA = normal, RE referral in mid-June, but hoping for a BFP before then!
we tried everyday for our first few cycles but it was abit too much for both of us, so now we do every other day which iv read is enough too, dont be too discouraged if you cant keep up the everyday routine!

We figure, as long as it works (i.e. feels okay, etc) we'll go for it. DH is enjoying it so far and I'm happy with it too. But we'd read that too, and that was our initial plan, so if this doesn't work we'll probably do something similar the next time we try.
I'm working on school work, and DH is out buying PG tests and vitamins. He's a good guy

Well, temp is holding steady at 96.8...interesting. I was sure it'd be today, but what the heck do I know?!? I'm just nervous that even with all this great CM, it'd somehow not work out right, you know? Plus, I had a lot of "sensation" down there last night (and even this morning). So maybe it's all still going on. I have no idea. I'm just going to be patient, continue BDing (later this afternoon, since I have class all morning) and do my very best to not stress about it.
Hope all is well this morning in JM land!

Also, I am incredibly nauseated today. No idea what the heck that's about. Blech.

Sorry you feel yucky this morning! Are you using a regular thermometer or a BBT?
I'm still feeling kind of gross. I'm just going to blame it on not eating a lot of normal food because it's Passover. Who knows.
I use a regular one. I know Fertility Friend recommends a BBT, but TCOYF seems to think it doesn't matter. So we'll see. I'm thinking because this is my first cycle charting, I'm very gungho - looking at other charts, it's mostly that my CM started a little later than one might expect, not that I've had it for so long. And I did have a ton yesterday, but I haven't really checked today (BAH SCHOOL) so we'll see.
Thoughts?

The BBT will be far more accurate, and might allow better trending. I think since you're just TTC this one cycle, then taking a break again (right?), you'll be fine for now. I wouldn't switch it up in the middle of the cycle. But when you're ready to TTC on an ongoing basis, I would def reco getting a BBT. I wouldn't compare your CM too much to others...mostly because everyone is SO different! You have fertile CM, so that great!
That's right - just this cycle and then a break again (gaah). So we'll see. Maybe I won't need the BBT Or maybe I will. It'd be nice not to. I do still have CM, so that's good.
Also, my friend (not trying at all - she's one of the younger unmarried grad students) was laughing that she got a sharp pain down low and was like, "I ovulated!" and laughed. It was funny, since she clearly wasn't being serious about it at all. Oh, different worlds

beginwhining/ WAAAAAH, I STILL HAVEN'T OVULATED. WAAAAH. /endwhining. Now that that's out of my system, my temp went up a leetle (97) but now somehow my thermometer got switched to celsius (I apparently did this in my sleep after taking my temp....) so we'll see how that goes. I hope I can switch it back. I really don't want to have to deal with that
I'm getting a lot of bubbles/sensation down there and bloating, so things are probably still happening. Hopefully. Thinking about the last cycle I did naturally (which was almost 18 months ago), it was about a week longer than expected (i.e. 5 weeks or so...) which would put Oing around tomorrow or Saturday, rather than last week. We'll see. Maybe even with all this wonderful CM I still won't O. But I'm trying to remain positive. There are other ladies that are getting theirs later than I am now, so it is possible! I BELIEVE! (in an Eddy Murphy voice and in a sparkly jacket)
Otherwise, quiet day here. Thinking I might do some knitting, even though I probably need to do school work. You know. The usual. Hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday!

Hmmm, you never know! You may have O'ed, but FF isn't confirming until it has 3 days of high temps! How is your CM? If you still got it, you prob haven't O'ed yet, and you're body is trying to...if you still have the fertile CM, keep at it!
(Trust me, I know all about the doing one thing instead of school work.)

I hope so! My friend told me that she gets nauseated when she O's - which I was ALL day yesterday. So, maybe? I guess we'll see, right? In any case, we're going to BD today and prob. tomorrow too and just keep checking that CM and temping and all that. Have faith, patience, all that jazz. I still have CM, so that's a positive. And lots of "sensation" as it were.
DH isn't minding the BDing part of this at all
And yes - lots of things are more interesting than school at the moment...

If you still have CM, you might not have O'ed yet...usually if one has fertile CM around O time, it dries up after O. But who knows...you are smart to just keep on it until you know for sure. Your temp did go up a tick today, so hopefully it will continue to do so over the next couple of days. Hope you get your therm back to F - I wouldn't even know how to do that!
Luckily, DH managed to figure out how to get it back to Fahrenheit!!

Okay, this entire post is probably but that's what we do here
Anyway, DH confirmed for me what I suspected - my CM is drying up. I also checked my temp and it's at 98. While I know this is not a good measure, my normal temp is usually 97.3 to 97.5 - 98 is a lowgrade fever, and I feel fine. So I'm expecting that I ovulated overnight and the temp jump will be easy to see tomorrow. I hope!
With the last days of Passover, I won't be online much at all until Saturday night, mostly to just update my chart. So, don't worry if you don't hear updates, and feel free to stalk my chart!!

That's great that you are able to notice that sort of CM shift. I always am envious of those who have any to begin with and can actually use it to help them determine their O. Fx that you actually O'ed...will be stalking your chart to see those temps rise! And you certainly got your timing down perfect (but don't stop, just in case!)
I will be stalking your chart too! I hope to see a nice rise! I am also envious of those who are able to see changes in their CM as I don't get much if I see any.
And I'm having symptoms, even if they are IPS at this point. First, I have been woken up twice while sleeping to pee. This is totally unusual for me - NEVER happens. And I'm peeing a lot during the day too - it's been more noticeable because our toilet handle broke so we've been using a jury rigged system DH noticed too. Second, cramps this morning. Third, and this isn't one I've heard about, but I'm having a lot of pressure between my legs - it actually hurts if I bring my legs too close together, and if I sleep on my side I need a pillow between my legs. It's totally crazy.
So yeah. My plan is to test starting on Sunday (the 22nd - 11DPO), and then every other day until the 26th and then every day until my period comes. We'll see. We both want this really badly.
