Really like your theory on healthy eating - that is exactly what I am trying to do. I don't plan to cut butter or things like that (although I do plan to use it in reasonable quantities) but I am hoping to eat more natural and less processed foods and add more fruits and veggies to every meal. Things like that. So I am SUPER interested if you find any recipes you like!!

This was my lunch today. I know the snack pack doesn't really fit in with the whole "more natural"... but I'm desperate for options. And they were tasty and there were SO many in there! I was all worried about the extra 90 calories from the salad dressing.. so I allowed myself 1 tbsp instead of the 2 tbsp suggested serving... and I seriously might have used 1/2 a teaspoon. SOOOOO strong tasting!

I've also had a water bottle full of ice water, and am about to fill it up again.

Forever 31 party is tonight, so I'm sure I'll end up snacking on something there. I just need to try and figure out what to have for dinner before I go.

I'm going to stop by the grocery store on my way home and pick up some grapes..I really love fruit (grapes, strawberries and bananas namely) with vanilla yogurt.. so filling and totally gets my sweet tooth!

I slept terribly last night.. I'm suspecting I'm allergic to trees AND grass... the pollen count is high and I feel like my eyes are filled with dirt..... Tomorrow I'm going to clean our bedroom, suck some of the pollen out of the carpet and see if that helps. Even the cat sneezes in there!

I don't really have much to say. The weather sucks, I'm not sleeping well and my foot hurts. That about sums up my week. LOL.

This is my last week at work though. I'm on call tomorrow (not likely to have to work), then I have 4 hours Thursday, and 5 hours on Saturday.

Next week I'm going to try and get on a sleep schedule of sorts. I'd like to be in bed no later than 1am, and up by 10am. Hopefully it will be nice and I can have breakfast, then go walk a mile, maybe two depending on how I feel/foot feels.

DH has said he thinks that I should get down to 200lbs, or less before we start ttc again. Which is sort of frustrating since I was aiming for 23 lbs, not 32+. So I'm going to pull out some of the wii exercise games and see which ones I can use. I also found a really nifty seated cardio work out on Spark people, I might give that a try tomorrow and see how it goes. Anything to help. I don't want to drop crazy amounts of weight fast, because it's not healthy and likely to bounce back on later.

Here's a rundown of my goals for the furture.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
9am wake up: Breastfast (cereal, fruit and yogurt - might use the cereal as granola)
1 mile walk - 18 minute mile
15 minutes cardio at home after lunch OR 30 minutes of laps

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday:
9am wake up: Breakfast (eggs, turkey bacon.. and pancake or toast)
1/2 mile walk - average of 19min per mile (I will slow down with more miles cause of my foot)
15 minutes cardio at home after lunch OR 30 minutes of laps

Sunday: Lazy butt day.

If I can keep up even HALF of that, I will be super extra duper pleased. I plan on getting DH in on it too when he gets home. Not that he's going to eat cereal, fruit or yogurt... but he will be all over bacon and pancakes. LOL

Starting to think the cat is hampering my recovery with my foot. If I'm not jumping and doing a dance to NOT step on her when she insists on being exactly where my foot is almost on the floor, she's biting the tendon. ARGH. Most cats attack your feet from behind. Not this cat... she's a "run at you full tilt as you're walking towards her so she runs smack into your" type of being.

And today she's driving me batty. She will NOT stay off the TV stand. It doesn't matter how many times I take her down, yell at her, or soak her with water.. she goes right back up. I'm seriously ready to lock her in a closet today, and I've only been up 45 minutes!!

My foot hurts. I might have to go into work. Dh got switched to 12 hour days yesterday. Its going on 80 degrees and I can't turn on the AC yet. *is having a whiny day*.

Can it be tomorrow please?

Yeah I had to go into work.. and now my foot hurts more. I also am a huge baby about pain. I'm starting to think that I have a nerve disorder or something. my injury sites never become pain free after the injury. I'm talking 10+ years, and I still have pain.

But I didn't have to work 4 hours, I worked about 3.5 or so. They got a big project come up, so they called me in to handle the back room stock and cash register so they could handle the big project. Which was fine... it's a little extra cash.

It has been a long night. Nola broke the tv. But I managed to fix it. Then DH comes online, he's sick. I don't feel good.. I made a 4:30 am run to walmart for something.

WARNING HPTS:

Oh... and the wondfos are having fun again.

The problem is.. that's pink. And it's accompanied by lines on a blue dye, an answer brand dip test, and an answer brand mid stream test. Only tests not showing lines are the Walmart Cassette tests I buy.

Pregnancy Test Gallery - Image #124179 | Countdown to Pregnancy

This isn't supposed to be possible. We only dtd once... on cd 10. I didn't get a positive opk for SEVEN days. While there has been a case or two of sperm kicking around that long, it's very rare and nothing like that happens in my life.. I'm not that lucky.

Why do the hpts play games with me?

So let's play the symptom game.

Nausea. check
trouble sleeping. check
chocolate tastes funny. check
cervix high. check
bbs helluva sore. check
patience out the window? Double check.. maybe triple
cries at the drop of a hat? Oh yes.

what the heck is going on?! I know some of those are pms signs.. but some of them aren't. AF's due Friday, I guess we'll a- see if she shows and b-see if those lines turn darker.

And now, I just might go take a nap, since I haven't been to sleep yet. *headdesk*

Great job on the healthy eating Ashley! I'm trying to get into a regime of walking / yard work to keep me active and I'm also trying to eat more whole foods. I'm just following the rule of being able to pronounce all the ingredients in the list.

I hope those tests turn into BFP's ASAP!

lol my morning tests were very much the opposite. I mean, I can see lines, but the camera couldn't. course I used a frer and not an answer. I'm currently trying to do a few hour hold.. but I'm so dang thirsty. And I know if I drink a lot of water my pee will be clear.. and I won't be able to hold it. And of course, I'm having tummy trouble so this has been a really crappy 3 hour hold. LOL I doubt I'll make it much longer.

I'm thinking they're false.. but still... I've been testing off an on since ovulation with wondfos.. and they've all been STARK white.. until last night. Today is 10dpo based off.

In diet news, my brother keeps posting photos on instagram of him infusing water with fruit. While I dislike the taste myself.. it made me want fruit.. so I had grapes, strawberries and banana mixed with vanilla greek yogurt and granola. Got my bottle of ice water on the table in front of me, I walked over to pay rent and get the mail. It's not a long walk.. but it's better than me getting in the car and driving.

I had an awesome supper too.

panko
montreal steak spice
basil
oregano
chives
garlic powder
olive oil - just enough to dampen the panko

I spread that on top of a chicken breast and baked it.

Then I steamed (using the little silver steamer things) potatoes and carrots. I mashed the potatoes with butter, sour cream and garlic powder. Kernel corn rounded out the meal. It was so Awesome!!! And I filled up so nicely. It's so nice to eat food that tastes good and is good for me! And I ate less that I usually would, because the potatoes had a nice rich flavor.

Awesome job on the eating! DH and I are really working at filling up on produce rather than other things... It takes some meal planning but you feel so good when you follow through and do it!
