Well PP called today and they suggested I check Walmart for a new Bayer kit that just came out for doing A1C. So I went in and eureka they had it (they were just stocking them lol). I'll open it tonight and read the instructions and likely do it tomorrow and put it in the mail and have results next week. If they come back anywhere near the "normal high" line I'll call the Ob clinic and get it done again. It says I should have the results in 7 business days from the date I mail it out.

The pharmacist said that they are highly accurate number wise, just determining what "normal" for a person is sometimes is difficult.. but if I'm over the normal listed on the box I most certainly need to see a doctor. But it'd be safe to take this now, and ask for a lab A1C to be run with my next appointment if I'm still concerned.

And yes hun it's so hot down here. Ugh. I swear we are melting and of course my AC's out in the car. *sigh*. We are sitting at 93 right now... but it's not yet 3pm so I'm sure that'll be 96 later.

Test is done, just needs to be mailed out tomorrow.

I just don't know where to go from here. Do I try soy again this fall? Vitex (I've found it in liquid form)? Do we just try another 6m? *sigh*

I have added DIM, Zinc, Selenium and a new type of q-10 to my regimen. I have a few more I could add, just haven't.

and I lost my train of thought by getting up from the computer. oopsie.

I LOVE the sound of the lady that did your pap. It's so nice to have someone listen and validate you. I'll be interested to hear about the results from your A1C.

she was pretty awesome. But all I have to say is I really hope she's wrong because it took me TWENTY FIVE minutes to convince myself to do the poke.. and then I broke open a lancet to do it manually...which didn't work so I had to do the poke properly and that took another ten minutes to get up the nerve. LOL.

Dh said if I need to monitor we'll splurge for a high end one that uses less blood and the less ouchy (and silent) lancet pens. LOL. I am such a loser

My new acupuncturist recommended a book called The WomanCode, which I am currently reading. It's all about food and vitamins to make women more fertile, and my acupuncturist swears by it. I haven't read enough to make a judgement, but the book is $12 for kindle (and you can just dl a kindle reader for the computer, which is what I did) so it might be something to look into.

DH will lose his head if I download another fertility book. I didn't even finish the last one (maybe I should do that...)

I'm also drinking Nopal Cactus juice. One dose and I was able to crochet for 9hrs before my hand began to hurt. Usually that happens 90 minutes in!!!!!!!!!!!! Dh noticed a big difference in his hips and knees at work too. It's supposed to be good for all over inflammation.. so maybe it'll calm my girlie bits down too

Cactus juice tastes like ... um... terrible. I mix 1 capful (which is a bit over an ounce) into 8-12oz of OJ. Just makes my OJ sour. But let me tell you.... I did 2 miles with little to no pain and Im' much less sore than I usually would be.

It says not to take it during pregnancy... but I'm hoping the midwives will give me the ok to keep taking it. If i have inflammation going on..stopping it would likely cause havoc and could cause another miscarriage.

A1C is in the mail. My finger hurts like a witch from the poke Probably doing my pointer finger wasn't a good idea.... I'm also a huge baby

What are your new tests, Ashley?

I'm running low on my cheapie Wondfo tests because I went crazy testing last month not knowing my O day. I think I have about 3 of those left, but I bought 5 Dollar general tests too....... next time (if there is a next time ) I want to have something other than Wondfo on hand...

I'll be testing on Sunday...FX for you!!

I ordered both wondfos (50) and something called Easy@Home. I've never noticed them before last night.. and they say they have a "photo score line" to make identifying positives... that and that alone is the only reason I spent $12 on them hahahahaha.

Ariw I am known to test for the hell of it at 1dpo. I did test last night and I swear I saw something... but it's not possible so I'm thinking I was looking too hard. LOL.

The cactus juice is going well so far. I forgot to take a dose last night (supposed to take 1-3oz a day), DH takes one a day.. but he drinks his straight.. I have to mix mine and I can't justify the calories in 24oz orange juice.. bad enough I'm drinking 16.

I have sick fishies so I'm off to Walmart to try and save the stupid things. *sigh* that's what I get for buying fish from Petsmart. Only one sick, my betta is showing outward signs of illness. I had to pull him out of the tank last night and plop him into a smaller container. But I need to treat the big tank too.. so no one else gets it.

Crazy about those tests. That is really bothersome. I guess we all get what we pay for when we chance it with cheap tests. But it still seems like total crap to tell a faulty product that could change someone life's.

I hope your fishies are doing better!
