It's literally just the pedals of a bike on a stand. LOL.

so my colposcopy results are back. The call went something like this.

So your Pap showed mild to moderate dysplasia with HSIL CIN2 cells.

Your colposcopy was negative, but she said your cervix looked strange, covered in the endo cervical cells.. you're too young for that.

Your endocervical biopsy (inside the cervix) showed normal cells

Your facical biopsy (of the outside of the cervix) showed normal cells.

Since the colposcopy and the pap showed two different things we are going to likely recommend the LEEP anyway. The doctor will call you on the 30th to let you know 100%, but the lab is recommending it because of your age. Just so you know, since you mentioned you were trying, you should not become pregnant for 1 year after the LEEP with your history.

Are you kidding me? You find nothing and you not only want me to put off TTC another year, putting me closer and closer to 35. OB's office wants to see the results.. but thinks this is hogwash.

ummm what?!?!?!?! That seems outrageous!!! I am glad your OB wants to see the results. Why will the doctor not call you until the 30th as well?? That seems like a long wait. . .

I hope that is not actually the case. That is really infuriating - how long until your OB can see the results?

Planned Parenthood doesn't actually employ doctors full time. They have doctors come twice a month to deal with patients face to face/calls, doctors who get less pay for doing what they do. The next time they're in is the 30th. They should have had me call about my results on Tuesday when the stupid doctor was in to start with.

I will have talked to their doc before mine gets the results. I have to sign freaking forms for my dr to get the results... Milwaukee sent me a paper today.. but I have to go into Appleton to sign one... then my Doc has to have time to review them (the nurse said to cc her and she'd look it over and then corral the doc into looking.

I am 99% sure the answer is no. Just no. I'll get rechecked in 6m and go from there.

I've decided I'm not doing it. LOL. I've not spoken to any doctors yet.. but no. just no.

Standard protocol is bad pap - re test pap in 3m then you go from there. They skipped that step, sent me straight for the biopsy that came back clear. I don't care if she felt she couldn't see everything as clearly as she'd like.. the answer to that is NOT to shave off the surface of the cervix of a woman who is actively trying for a child and has had more than enough miscarriages already!

So no. I'll have a pap redone in January or February.. about the time I'm hoping we can take some steps towards really getting pregnant and I won't be relying on Planned Parenthood for diagnosis.

I did have something super weird last night. A crap load of ewcm. Since I'm supposed to watch for infection from the colposcopy I had to look at the TP. It seriously looked like eggwhites.. and it had what looked like a blood spot. It looks like someone cracked a chicken egg that's missing the yolk in my vajayjay! I've never.. not once.. had that before. Opk's have been neg since the 15th.. so I have no idea what's goin on.. and it's way too early for implantation.

I have a sneaky feeling I'm not actually going to O.. and it'll throw off our trying.

(Lurking)

So, I had the bad pap and then went for the colposcopy. E results cam back that I had the highest grade of bad news you could have without it actually being stage one cancer.

I did not want the LEEP done. No way, no how. I really wanted to wait and have another colposcopy done in six months and see where we were at. My GP, GYN, and my mother berated me into having it done. They removed a quarter of my cervix in total.

They did pathology on what they took out and were to call me with results. They did call a few days later and said that there were no questionable cells whatsoever in the portion of my cervix that they removed. The LEEP left me with side effects and of course I really felt betrayed by the whole medical community because they shouldn't have taken out that much of me, especially given nothing was wrong. I never had a normal period after the LEEP.

I did conceive so I guess everything g turned out 'fine' in the end.

All this is to say that if I were you, especially give your circumstances, I would wait and do another colposcopy and see what they say. I was going to post sooner but didn't want to sway you one way or another.

Just thought I'd swing by and give you my support, FWIW.

Good luck and ((hugs))

Thank you ladies.

The more I say I'm not going to do it.. the more secure I become in my decision. they want to take 4-5mm off my ENTIRE cervix. The cervix is often only 30mm max thick to start with! So no. Hell no.

once we have a child, if they happen to find anything.. they're free to remove it. And by it.. I mean the whole thing. If cervical cancer is going to be a risk after we've had a munchkin, they can just eliminate the entire cervix and other bits entirely.

I think you have made a good decision. It seems very rash to me to just go in there and start surgeries before you actually know anything.

I hope you do O this cycle!!!! Sending some O dust your way

I'm still getting a tonne of ewcm... and it's slippery feeling, but I'm not so it's not fertile. It is highly possible that it is discharge from disturbing my cervix last cycle.. even though I didn't have any before AF. LOL. Who knows.

My ovaries hurt like I O'd... BB's don't hurt much but my nipples are a bit ouchy. Not sleeping great which is a decent sign of O for me.. but my foot's acting up (weather change) and I'm in pain so that's likely not helping either.

I have a crazy hectic week ahead of me, and I'm not looking forward to the amount of work I have to do and the 4 days I have to do it in.

Gonna be a long road with these two cats.

I have a sneaky suspicion DH is going to ask his ex to bring a 2nd kitten

First meeting went terrible.. she scares him so bad he won't move... and she smacked him so hard he cried for 5 minutes in my arms.

He is safely put up in a crate in Reme's room (reme sleeps on an airbed.. I'm afraid little claws will put a hole in it LOL). Hopefully only a few needed... but *sigh*

I'm annoyed with Nola.. and it's been a long time coming. She got really nice and sweet when she got spayed. Well that's all gone. She might possibly be meaner than before. And tonight she put a 2" long deep gash down Dh's hand that I had to clean and sterilize so he could go to bed. All because he happened to be near by when I carried her out of Reme's room. I really do not think I could bring a human baby into this house with her here, she would have no problems biting, scratching or mauling it.

Asleep on Reme's lap

Asleep in Nola's bed (this did not go well)

Being terrorized

Scared out of his tree on my desk

Nola smacked him, he laid like this (scared) and then went to sleep.

I'm loving all your kitty photos on fb! I'm sorry Nola is being mean to Damon, I know you've had issues with her behaviour before but could it be she's worse cos she's jealous? Maybe if you can spend some time with her without Damon it might help?? (grasping at straws here!)

In the meantime...keep on with the kitty photos!

pfft... I got bitten for trying to spend time with her. LOL. I'm not doing much of the baby kitten holding, that'd be DH.. so she has come over and spent a few minutes snuggling with me.. but she's very tensed up the whole time.

Things are getting better. She has decided his butt is dirty and HAS to be cleaned. I cannot say Damon appreciates this yet. But there's a lot less growling and hitting going on this morning. They are currently playing (aka Damon's scampering all over and Nola's following him)... with little growling (mostly cause Reme won't keeps his nose out of their business... seriously, GAH!)

I still do not know what's in store for Nola. She seriously needs to get nicer or I will be looking to rehome her before we bring a baby home. One cannot say I've made a rash decision on it either.. since she'll have been here quite a while and we've been considering it since she was 10 weeks old. I think she'd do really well in a good sized apartment, as long as she had a cat tree with platform in the widow, and do best with a female owner.. or owners . she really doesn't like men at all.

Awwwwwwwwww Damon!!!!!!!!! he is sooo super cute I have been LOVING all these photos

That is sad about Nola But I totally get how you would not be able to trust her with a baby. Some cats are just better suited to be "only children" I worry about Thor with a baby sometimes but so far he is great with my friends 1 year olds so I guess we will see. Damon looks super sweet though how has his personality been?

He is an adorable little beast. He loves to snuggle and cuddle. Clipped his little nails yesterday though.. at first I was going to wait because I wanted him to have Nola Defense.. but they would just stick into us like crazy so I just took off the pointy bits.

They seem to be doing better. We left them out together yesterday, we were only supposed to be gone 4 hours. There are a lot of tiny places in here that he can get that she can't.. so we knew he'd have a place to at least hide out. We got home.. 7 hours later (oops) and they were chasing each other around the house. LOL. I did put him in Reme's room over night... that way he's guaranteed to get some food, and some rest. When I went to bed he was asleep in a container on a soft blanket and not his comfy bed. lil bugger

We ended up in Urgent Care with Dh last night. He has a cellulitis infection over 1/3 of his back. We've been battling with it a while, and even went to another Urgent Care last weekend 40 miles away (cheaper) and they brushed it off and told him he needed to see a dermatologist. Well he now has pain killers and antibiotics and hopefully should be feeling better in a few day.

But it was eye opening. He needs to get better. So we are going to put off an RE another few months, and try and focus on getting him some treatment for his skin. I'll still see if the ob will run some basic bloodwork that I don't need an RE for.. but we'll save the big guns until we have some success with his skin. Honestly, him getting better and a little progesterone are all we might need... so I'm ok with waiting a bit.. especially since he doesn't want to stop trying and wants me to get the bloodwork and such done anyway. Hopefully we'll still be pregnant before the RE deadline

That said... AF's on her way I had the headache yesterday, and noticed a little spotting last night. stupid witch!

The Colposcopy Clinic called me a few minutes ago.

The doctor who is supposed to call me on Wednesday will not be in, so she was calling with the info herself (diff nurse).

They are NOT recommending a Leep right now, they want me to have a pap done in the spring, and a colposcopy after that (I'm not consenting to a colposcopy unless the pap comes back with the same result as before). We will have insurance, so hopefully my own OB will be able to do it next time and not them.

I'm not putting TTC on hold for it either. No way, no how. Getting too old for that

I was quite relieved. They're going to send the stuff to my OB regardless so he and his nurse can review it.

Now I'm in a dilemma on my next labs. They're due on the 29th of Nov... which happens to be Black Friday. I will be in town on the 22nd, and not again until after Christmas.... His nurse wasn't in today, some idiot was answering the phone (and I quote "Do you have to have the medication? Can't you just go a week or two with out it?") so I couldn't get any answers on if they'll do it on the 22nd, with the understanding I have my current dose until the 14th... OR does he want to write me an extra month of the current dose and then I'll come into town in January to get labs done.

The reason I can't just go another week and get the labs done then is.. I'm going home for a week . From the 6th to the 14th... I've only told two people, and only because they need to find a day that we can all get together. I'm literally not telling ANYONE that I am coming.. I'm just gonna show up and take advantage of the fact no one would ever tell me I'm a pain in the rear for showing up unexpectedly. LOL My ticket includes a rental car.. I feel devilishly evil

2 days into a new cycle and NOW PMS hits? ARGH.

Every cycle for the last five or six.. after the first day of wearing a pad.. I get a red sore wound along one side of my groin. Well I have it AGAIN. So I said screw it and ordered 2 cloth pads from Esty. If I like them I'll order more.. I just didn't want to buy a stash and loathe them, or have them just not work for me. But I have to find some sort of solution because I'm miserable.

Then, DH needs new boots. All the local stores are out of his size, so I ordered him two pair Sunday night. I logged in tonight to check the status only to find the order Cancelled! They're holding the funds, but it's cancelled. I really pity the person who answers the phone tomorrow. I'm so tired of BS with companies when it comes to cancelling orders and them not notifying you at all.

I made a big dinner Saturday night... this is what I did on the veggies.

Some Cat pictures. I'm not taking all that many. LOL

Weighing in time. He was 1lb 10oz Friday. He is 1lb15 oz tonight

I bought this for Nola, and she never used it. He loves it. It's a sack, so it will grow with him.

Nola likes snap peas....

I got a 2nd fish tank. No fish in it yet.
