Vent away. Right now, you're venting to the choir on that one. I've been feeling the same way today.

Hugs to you lady! This month has been crappy so far! I think they should have multiple people to schedule the surgery! Ridiculous.

So, I had an absolutely wonderful time at yesterday's St. Patty's Day celebration! It started at 10:30am when we met several of our friends at their house. We had beermosas (beer and orange juice), which I have never had before. We ate green eggs, green french toast and cinnamon rolls (regular color) for breakfast. We left our friend's house at noon on to go Dublin Pub--Dayton's largest St. Patty's day event. We met up with about 10 other friends at DubPub. We continued to drink and socialize. Of course, we all wore St. Patty's day attire. I wore a hello kitty St. Patty's day ringer shirt--very cute! I also wore a kiss me I'm Irish pin. We took a cab to DubPub and planned on taking one on the way back, but it was impossible to get one! We started walking home, while looking for a cab--probably not the smartest idea. So we called our one friend with a mini van and got a ride home from him. We decided to get some food and call it a night; but some of our other friends decided to keep partying. DH went over to our friend's house--all of the friends we hung out with are also our neighbors--I stayed home after eating. All and all it was a great time! If you are friends with me on fb, you saw some pics--don't I look cute in a green mustache! Oh and if you are reading this and want to be friends on fb, just let me know.

TTC: Still have not ovulated yet. I had EWCM yesterday and my cervix was high and open, but nothing. DH and I are still BDing, but ughhhhh, I'm so sick of not ovulating regularly. I received a call from RE today. I have a tentative surgery date, 5/1. It's later than I had hoped, but I knew that that could happen. I'm waiting on another call later this week to learn of the details.

Work continues to be busy, today is my slowest day. I only have one conference call. Otherwise nothing new. I'll keep you posted!

I'm so glad that you had an awesome St. Patrick's Day! It's so nice to get out and have fun. It takes at least a little of the stress of TTC away for a while.

So I finally have my surgery scheduled. My endo surgery will be on Friday, May 10th. Sadly, that's the earliest Friday they could schedule me. I found out today that I have to go on BCP the month before the surgery. So after this cycle, I start BCP and continue it until the surgery. Sadly, this is my only cycle before the surgery. Wouldn't it be so great if I got pregnant this cycle! Of course, I don't see this happening as I'm on CD 23 and I still haven't O'd. One can only hope right.

I'm truly hoping that I have endo, so that we can figure out why we can't conceive. Of course, if not, there is always a FET and IVF # 2.

Fingers crossed that all will go well.

FX for you!!!

I'm sorry about the bcp, it's one of the things that sucks about medical assistance.

What I don't get is why be on it prior to surgery.. it can mask some issues, because it affects the hormones that could be making the problem... I've never noticed any of the MA girls say they had to be on it before a Lap...

Well it is disappointing the surgery isn't until May - so much waiting around but I am so glad it is scheduled!!! I really hope it will give you the answers you are looking for. I am sorry about the BCP and I also don't understand why before surgery - I am sure they have their reasons though. They wanted me to go back on it right now but said I didn't have to. . . it took me 6 months to come off that thing I never want to go back on.

I am still keeping everything crossed for you on this cycle - you never know

RE's office told me that it will keep my lining thin. It apparently is easier for Re to remove endo, if I do have it. I'll have to look into it....Thanks ladies!

Nicholle I wish I could give you a great big hug! I am glad that you got your surgery scheduled even if it is a bit more farther out than you want. Maybe this will be your cycle and you will get your BFP!! You never know. Things happen in ways we never could have imagined them sometimes!

I do not understand the BC though. Silly doctors.

So, I'm trying to think positively. I keep telling myself that one day I will have a baby, that it may not be on my time frame and it may happen rather unexpectedly, but that I will have a baby......but it's so hard.....

I didn't ovulate last cycle, which can happen after failed IVF. I've read that it can take a cycle or three for your body to get back to normal. I've decided that I won't get on bcp until after this cycle. Though my RE would prefer me to get on bcp now, I don't see the harm, as most RE's don't put their patients on bcp prior to surgery and I will be on bcp the cycle of the surgery, just not this next cycle....

So, if you've read my journal from the beginning you know that my sister and I have had some issues. I've been trying to open up more to her, per her request, though we are very different and to be honest, sometimes I just don't like her. I will always love her, but somedays I just don't like her....well, I told her that I have been feeling down about failed IVF, scared that I'll never have a baby, etc...she said that she totally knows what I'm talking about ----WARNING RANT COMING----My thought, no you don't know what I'm going through, you have two children, I have ZERO! You did not spend $12,000 on a failed IVF. You have two children naturally!!!!!! I know that she tried for awhile with both of them, but it's not the same! Ok, rant done....

Ok, back to positive thoughts!

Just catching up.

Your sister. Ugh!

Glad you have the surgery scheduled, even if it seems like ages from now. I get what you're saying about hoping you have endo. I'll be crossing fingers that's the problem so you can at least have some answers.

I promise I'm going to try to stalk you more regularly.

I'm sorry about your sister. I hate it when people say they understand when they clearly have no idea. I also hate it when people offer to help, even though they have no intention of doing so. If she offers to help, send her a bill for part of your IVF.
