Sorry for the pain Hope you are okay, and that it doesn't mess up your ovulation or any of the procedures you're scheduled for.

So, I didn't go out with friends on Friday. I was in the mood to go out, but DH wasn't, so we decided to stay in; which was fine. As a matter of fact this whole weekend was really relaxing, with us not doing too much.

TTC news: On Friday night, I thought I was really gearing up to O, my cervix was pretty high for CD 13, I had lots of watery CM and I was starting to get a bit horny. Sadly, that didn't last long. My cervix dropped on Saturday and I started really breaking out (acne). I haven't had this many blemishes since college. I think my hormones are out of whack. Possibly still from failed IVF or from cysts. I'm also not feeling how I typically do before O. Usually, I'm not really hungry right before O and I don't crave any foods. Saturday night I was craving chocolate and peanut butter, so I picked up some peanut butter M&Ms. I ate a lot last week as well, gaining .5lbs. Today, my cervix is pretty high, but not open with watery CM. Hopefully I'll O this month, but I guess we will see....wish me luck!

So I did it, I went back to being really blonde! I haven't been this blonde since my wedding day! I told my stylist that I will take her advice and go blonde like she suggested at our last appointment. Well, I'm blonde, platinum in fact. It's a lot to take in and it will take awhile to get used to it, but I've had positive feedback so far. I'll likely go darker next time, I always do. Oh, to see pics checkout my fb page. I uploaded a pic after yesterday's appointment.

Sad news, my stylist is moving back to TN, where she is originally from. I really like her and don't want to look for another stylist, but what can you do. I have a f/u appt scheduled with a new stylist at my current salon; who my stylist Hannah raved about it, so I may try her out. In the meantime, I will look throughout the city to find another one, as a back-up.

To test out my new do, DH and I and two of our friends met for $1 bottle night at Bar Louie. This makes it 3 weeks in a row for us!

Just an FYI, and I'll post this on the main board tomorrow. I will be in Cleveland all next week for training. It's part of the leadership program that I was selected for. It's going to be a long week, but it will be fun socializing. We're going to an Indians game one night and possibly a Cavs game another night. I will not have access to a computer and it's hard to post from my phone, so I will be MIA. Though, I'm sure you'll survive without me!

TTC news: I continue to have twinges/pain around my ovaries. I'm still guessing it's cysts. I haven't checked my CM much today, but I'm pretty sure that I haven't ovulated, though I think my body is really trying to. I will be talking with an RN tomorrow morning about my impending lap sx. Less than a month until my surgery!

So I'm a bit bummed. I don't think I mentioned this earlier, but I have been working out like crazy, mainly jogging, doing plyometrics, strength training, etc...Well, last week I started feeling knee pain and soreness. I didn't think much of it. I thought that maybe I was not giving myself enough rest between workouts, which is probably the case. However, I went for a jog on Monday and it really hurt. I did some research and discovered that I likely have "runners knee". I foolishly have not been giving my body enough rest between workouts, have not been stretching properly and have been really pushing myself to jog really hard and fast. All my fault. So since Monday I haven't jogged or have done much working out. As I said, I typically workout 6 days a week and twice on Sunday. Since I haven't been able to workout, I've been feeling sluggish. Also, though I ate well this week, the last two weeks I've been eating horribly and put on 1.5 lbs (last Saturday's weight). I weighed myself today and I haven't lost any weight since last week. I know that if I were able to work out like I typically do I would have lost at least .5 lbs. I know in the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal, but next week I'm going to Cleveland where I will be going out to dinner every night. Of course, I plan to eat as healthy as I can, but I will be taking in more calories than I typically do, as restaurants prepare their food differently than I would at home. So next week, I planned on not losing weight. I also don't know how much I will be able to exercise if my knee is still hurting. I really hoped to be at my goal weight by my surgery date. That is 5 lbs away. Sadly, I don't think that I can lose the 5 lbs by 5/10. I'm also worried as I don't know when I'll be able to jog again. I really wanted to start training for a 5K after I return from Cleveland. Ughhh, again, this is totally my fault. I should have taken better care of myself. I'm just so frustrated!

Oh and I haven't O'd yet.

Oh no!!! I am so sorry about your knee!! That is super frustrating! Maybe next week while you are in Cleveland you could try and keep a morning work out routine of stretching and sit ups or maybe make some quick trips to the hotel gym if they have one for some working out that wont bother your knee. It can be really hard to eat healthy out - places use so much more salt, butter, sugar etc than we ever would at home. it can be hard to pace yourself getting into working out - I am so sorry that happened. I think their is still a chance you can meet your goal though - you will still have 4 weeks once you get back from your conference. I believe in you!!!!!!!!

Sorry you still haven't Od!!!! Sending some O vibes your way!

I agree with Elle. There are lots of upper body exercises that you can do. Check out YouTube and search for "seated workouts" or something. They're often for older folks or whatever, BUT they are great for keeping you moving a little while your knee is recovering!

Restaurant food is the WORST but it tastes so good If you know some of the restaurants you can go to, there are often websites that post health information so you can plan ahead of time. Sometimes the worst of it is that the things that seem healthier are actually not as good, and with the sites you can check. Good luck!
